Last night, we had a Happy Hour (a 5.5-hour long Happy Hour) to celebrate our law clerk finishing law school (she's accepted a position with us, which is great because she's one of my best friends at work). While out, I asked one of the guys to rate all the space films. We decided that 2001 is categorically the best space film.

Voting A Person Called Matt.

I don't understand where y'all are voting.

2001 is easily the best space film I've ever seen, though.

Day 4
Image
What a nice river! It babbles along peacefully, while little fishes flash golden scales brightly in the glistening sunlight. So still the scene, no one could imagine that anything would ever disturb it, but then something did.

"Ow!" said Metalmarsh as he burst into flames.

"Metalmarsh is on fire!" said Bass the Clever (and it was indeed a clever remark.)

"Better throw him in the water," observed A Person.

And so they did, and the little fishes were disturbed, but it was too late.

Metalmarsh89 has been killed by Baby's On Fire.
You have 24 hours to lynch someone.

Voting Matt as per The Plan (tm)

No clue what team MM89 was, but as I believe I mentioned earlier, self-voting suggests possibly animals because either of the other two teams benefits negatively from being lynched. But if he wasn't it might have just ruined animals win chances

Re: Oblique Strategies - an Eno Mafia [DAY 4]

I hope that didn't ruin the plan for the animals to win. MM was dicey in my opinion so maybe Baby on Fire was re-acting on things s/he saw in the thread and felt comfortable he was an animal. I'm marching on with the plan and will vote for A Person today.

I agree with Juliets that maybe Baby's on Fire thought that MM was an Animal, and I hope for his sake that he was. I'm still sticking to the Plan and voting AP, as per his request.

I'd like to end the pol a little early today, since there is a clear majority, to counteract "Host Post Creep." I'll probably try to close it out around an hour early, if nobody minds too much.

I don't see any listed in the roles, though granted I have no idea what St Elmo's Fire is supposed to do

St. Elmo's Fire splits ions in the ether.

There are no lynch switch mechanics in this game.

Just a suggestion, why not end it early tomorrow night and announce it in tonights post. Then everyone will have plenty of time to adjust.
