I find the push against inactive players, Dana in particular, very suspicious, and I will do everything in my power to avoid a Dana lynch because I am positive she isn't bad.

Yes it can be frustrating when people don't play but the hosts have already replaced so many players and Dana contributed plenty early but hasn't been around in a while - no one is telling anyone how much or how little to post. Just because she hasn't come back doesn't mean she's bad, just that she is a busy and disinterested civilian.

Don't let your dislike for inactive players interfere with baddie hunting. If Chris continues going this direction, you better bet I will try to lynch him.

And you have no problem with her missing 4 votes, in a row, out of 8?

Just so I don't leave you hanging, I'm catching up a bit - I honestly missed the whole case on sabie, so that'll give you an idea of how far behind I am :sigh:

As far as Epi goes, I really do think he's just burned out. I've said it before and I'll say it again - people say he acts strange/different/like a baddie, but he really just acts like himself, so it's not particularly weird behavior to me. Even though I know I'm a quieter player, I advocate having a look at quieter players, since surely not all of the baddies are out in the open like he is.

Are people saying Chris is the Master? I think I saw that a few pages back, but haven't gotten a chance to see exactly why this is so. I'm begrudgingly willing to glean posts and posts for it, but I'd much appreciate the shortened version if someone can oblige me :D

Linki: Interesting you say that, MP. My comment is certainly not out of dislike of quieter players (obviously); it's really an observation. The problem is, it's hard to build a case against them without looking like, well, you don't like their quietness.

No, Chris, if I really strongly felt you were civvie I would not vote you. But truth is not sure whether you are and it's undeniable that ever since you survived those 2 NKs your play style has transformed from relatively under the radar to incredibly over the top. That in itself isn't am indication of anything but if you seriously think leading lynches on quiet players because you're annoyed with them makes more sense than actually baddie hunting then yes you deserve to be heavily suspected for that.

I found Snow Dog's "yeah!" even more suspicious than your thoughts on the matter frankly.

If you are a civvie Chris please continue to baddie hunt. Do not vote for someone because you are annoyed they aren't posting. That does us no good. Especially since you were possibly onto something IMO with your previous analyses regarding Bass and Snow Dog.

That's all.

And don't worry man I know how it feels to pour your heart and soul and time into really playing a game to your full potential and losing it because disinterested players didn't do the same. But don't let that cloud judgment or the reality that it doesn't necessarily make those players bad.

This analysis implies the baddies may have wanted him dead, not that he was any specific role.

Between finding a cyberman and Sockface coming back from the dead, The Doctor's travel buddies were starting to feel pretty good about themselves. After consulting the list of planets, it was decided that Bilbos would be the next destination.
"It's what Bea would have wanted." SVS pointed out.
"Yes, she did so love her books." JC agreed.
As the TARDIS began traveling towards its literary destination, everyone enjoyed a nice cup of hot coco to unwind with after a long day's work.
"This is much less headachey enducing." Elo pointed out to her hubby.
"Pstt....I have some peppermint schnapps." Epi whispered to anyone who would listen when his wife wasn't paying any attention. "It's what Bea would have wanted."

After several days of silence, Dana told the crowd "As important as this is, I have a big midterm when we get back. I'm going to take advantage of this time to go study while we are traveling." And she set off to a long evening with her books.

The Cybermen were still anxious to continue to upgrade people. If they had emotions, they would have been angry for the loss of Sabie. As it was, they were just very sure that humans were much better in their upgraded form and Dana was the perfect candidate.

Dana was so focused on her books that she didn't hear the cur-chunk - cur-chunk coming down the hallway. She had no idea she was in danger until the door blast open. "You will be upgraded." The cybermen told her mater of factly.
"NO! I don't want to be upgraded. I JUST WANT TO STUDY FOR MY TEST!!!" She yelled at them angrily.
"If you will not be upgraded, you shall be deleted." They replied as they shot a lazor straight at her heart.

Strax felt the need to protect the TARDIS for he glory of the Sontarian race once again. He noticed DFaraday standing in the doorway by himself. He looked around. "I shall use this mug of hot coco and this odd peppermint thing to melt his face off. With honor!" As he started toward Dfaraday, he tripped and fell spilling his peppermint coco of doom all over the floor.

In the common area of the TARDIS, The Doctor addressed the crowd. "I'm growing quite tired of you leaving my TARDIS littered with bodies. I shall fix things this time, but really, you all need to start picking up after yourselves."

He walked around to the pile of bodies and waved his sonic screwdriver a few more times. Slowly Zeek and MM awoke.
"EWE! Why am I in with this lot? Zeek asked
"Hi Honey, I'm home!" MM announced coyly.

Dana has been killed by the cybermen.
Dfaraday has not been killed by Strax
Zeek and MM have been rezzed. Zeek and MM are not available for lynching this day period.
It is now Day - you have 48 hours to find a Killer.

Creativity in the post and the poll were the sacrafice the island demanded for speed. All pm's are going out now as well. PLEASE let me know if you are expecting one and didn't get it. I am sure I missed something trying to rush this all.

Special thank you to LC for being a sport and staying insanifed so long after he should have been free of it. You are an inspiration to us all sir. :noble:

Kate enslavement a lynch, two rezzes, hylotheism all sorts Piggies whaa!

Ha ha, just kidding! I'm SANE again!! :D :D :D Good to have my mind back. At least I knew with the double targeting rule, I was safe last night. And now it's a brand new dawn, YES, Day NINE! :fiesta: I know there's some people who have decoded some of the unrevealed Civvie roles that will know what I mean.

I am very surprised that the Cybermen chose to kill Dana, but I think it was a respectable move. They want to take out "confirmed" Civvies, so they go for someone that The Doctor insisted was good... but they also choose a low-poster, leaving the more impassioned, involved players alone this time.

A failed Strax kill is always such a conundrum. Well, not for keys apparently. So, today, we'll have a push for voting Epig, for voting Chris, for voting DFaraday, for voting Bass... I wonder how it will turn out?

I'm getting too convinced by these cases. Chris' analysis of his version of the Cyber Team based on vote analysis was convincing to me, but then it's true that a lot of those votes were the "popular" vote of the day, evident when he added another player or two to the list of "they satisfy the vote conditions for my Cyber suspicion" alongside Epig, Bass, and Snow Dog.

Epig's observation of Sabie's role-checker-infused votes on Chris made sense, but then keys observed that the Cyber Team would also want to lynch a role that was a hard-to-kill Civvie role... like Chris was claiming.

Now keys is, like, SO sure of DFaraday... even though a Strax survive could be Civvie. What if Strax had failed to kill me? Would keys be coming after me instead?

Essentially, I think he's been virtually perfect, which troubles me. He's too clean, y'know? Probably not, I don't think I can articulate this well at the moment. I'll need to frame this better. LC, I just wanted to point out about Epig's point of Sabie the role checker voting for me twice.

First, since when does anyone trust a baddie?

Second, she voted for me days 7 & 8. Day 8, I laid a case out that got her lynched.

Why is anyone shocked she voted for me? And day 7's vote? I just survived 2 NKs... that was the PERFECT way to say that I was The Master.

LINKI @ Dom: You don't think that someone who repeatedly talks about how sure that they are that they are going to be killed is a tactic to actually dissuade the NK?

Besides, it shouldn't be shocking that they didn't NK me... If they did, and I died, they couldn't POSSIBLY frame me for being The Master... If I was The Master, I would have survived one more time...

Right?

ATTENTION ALL PLAYERS!!!!!!

Your humble hostess made a HUGE error in the night post.

DANA HAS NOT BEEN KILLED BY THE CYBERMEN!!

Soooo....NO ONE HAS DIED LAST NIGHT.

I'm so soooooo sorry. I rushed too fast and missed something. :( Dana can still be voted for - please BOLD your votes for her in the thread if you wish to vote her.

I gotta ask, did anyone vote Sabie because of the case Chris made? Just curious.
