Also I am currently using shitty Toronto wifi. I can't wait to get out of Canada and use data whenever I want. :suspish:

One of my most cherished childhood memories was my first big accident. I decided to try standing on my bicycle seat while riding down a hill. Unfortunately, I wiped out pretty bad and landed on my chin. I walked the mile or so back, and Mom rushed me to the ER, and I got a whole bunch of stitches put in. I was probably 5 or 6 years old at the time. :D

Sure. I got into Mafia from way back (lostpedia, then the piano, then Hedville), I left for a while because I was getting my Masters. That is done, and I saw MP's PM about the changes in the forum. I love Dowton and that is about the it.

I am sure other people can tell you better than I can my playstyle (if they remember).

If you can make me laugh out loud with your musings in this first day, I'll not vote you. Call it honorable integrity.

If I make you laugh out loud, then I become the Queen of England herself.

I can't remember the last game where a statement like that was detectable. We should ask the host.

Also, I can't remember the last time where a request like that didn't cause a firestorm of debate and accusations based on the request--which is why those statements aren't detectable.

Yes, green is still green. Dead red is still dead red. Most importantly, orange is still orange. The important things stay the same.

Statements like this are uncheckable. I don't want the fun of the game to be lost or the game to become unbalanced.
And there's the answer.

Oh, and cherished childhood memory: I actually remember snippets of moving to our house when I was 2 1/2. My parents still live in that house. Specifically, I remember playing on the dolly (the wheelie thing used to move furniture)--it had green carpeting on the cushion (at least it did later--the movers actually left the dolly, which is perhaps why I remember it--we could have added the carpet onto it later). I remember riding it down the driveway while the movers moved all the stuff into the house.

if your a civ, whats you gernal play (ie how you scum hunt, are you obvious civi, times right vs wrong, ect)

Perhaps this says too much about me, but I remember to this day when I got a few shillings and had the opportunity to procure this strange device called a "Compact Disc Player." Would you believe it? I ran all the way to the nearest shoppe with my remaining funds and purchased my first treasure: Nitty Gritty Dirt Band's Greatest Hits. I Bojangled my way home that day. Yes sir.

I tend to be a pretty obvious civvie, my hunting is based on me knowing the players well, so this game will be tough for me with so many new people and personalities to learn and disseminate. I look for evidence, once there is some, to build cases when I need to do so, and tone is a major factor for my instincts.

the best game I ever played as a baddie that I remember was I think... LOTR on The Piano? I stayed alive for a good while, "leading from the back" as BR put it I think. I thought that was just the best compliment. The worst was actually also on The Piano the first game ever played there the LOST game. Great Muppety Odin I was terrible.

Yes, Vanilly, you were. I say that with love. And you weren't the only of our teammates who slipped. We were a horribly playing team of good players.

My own worst baddie game was LOST on LP--I attempted to role claim a civie role that, it turned out in the end, was actually part of a baddie secret team. And that may have been the game in which I accidentally posted a message to my team in the shoe thread (this was pre-chat-room use days). Ah, memories.

We were a HOT MESS that game.

Also, HAHAHAHAHA I totally forgot that you did that!!! :haha: How are you??

I just went back and read the rules... and I realized why people were doing the memory thing.

So I guess here is one of mine....

A cherished childhood memory for me is of me running around the house and grounds of our family home, Ridgeway, (which we had to sell this past year and it it still hurts) BUT the way the air smelled, and how the earth dipped under your feet as you ran with the cicadas calling, playing on the family gravestones, sitting on the screened in porch eating dinner watching it get dimmer, then going back out to catch fireflies until you were called in for bed.

Good times.

ETA (is that still a thing. geez I feel old. )

SVS thank you and DOOOOMMMMMMMM!! OMG, how are you cutie?

I am all for baddie teams fearing me. :srsnod:

I think my most cherished childhood memory might be my first Christmas in my Aunt's house. We spend every Christmas there now. We just had so much fun and it was a rather turbulent time for the family, so it was nice to have a safe place.

Well you're what 23? Practically a dinosaur. :P

A cherished memory. I guess it would be the day after Christmas 2008. My father had just gotten back from his first leave after being deployed to Afghanistan. He was supposed to be back for Christmas, but all the flights got grounded making him late. We held up Christmas that year until he got home, and instead of having a great big party it was just the family, we ended up having BBQ nd home made Italian food. It was a good memory.
