Twas a bit of a jape, nothing serious meant by it. To be honest, I assumed all of your "early reads" were prime examples of tomfoolery and not 100% serious.

Yo! I'm in front line.
Fighting in frontline is better than any other option I think if it really helps to kill a titan, while doing nothing is most scummy thing but on other side helping to evacuate people is much likely neutral thing.
I've slight scum read on insertnamehere but I don't know what's up with sig? Though this is my first time here so I don't know much about everyone play style or regular things.

OK, so we vote on helping evacuate which I think is not really a good choice because it doesn't force anyone to take a hard stand.
Or support the front lines or stay here and hide. I'm not familiar enough with the show to know which one of these is the best. Who is familiar enough to know this and what do you think?

I've seen the show frankly you're damning if you do and damning if you don't no way to avoid getting eaten. The safest option might be to help evacuate, however then you might need to worry about the citizens rioting or you getting killed in the chaos.
Hiding isn't very good you can/will get eaten, commit suicide, or get smushed by buildings.
Fighting on the front lines well that is dangerous since you're fighting giant man eating titans, however I think it is the best bet to pick right now. Dangerous yes, but I think it is better then the alternatives. Especially since we should be helping to destroy the titans.
insertnamehere wrote:If we wanted to really overanalyze the poll, we could say that evacuating is the selfless, civilian option while hiding and cowering is the selfish, villain option. In this reductive point of view, going to the front lines is the neutral option.
Or maybe it's a bluff, and the effects are intentionally different.
Or maybe it's a double-bluff, and we're supposed to discard the obvious answer in order to trick us into tomfoolery.
Or maybe I'm really, really overthinking this.

After looking at all these, I'm going with front lines. It's the best shot at actually killing a Titan so why not? Also, I am ashamed to admit I just now saw this so:

This is the quote that convinces me to go with Evacuate. If the show itself supports it, and it appears, just superficially, to be the civilian option, I can't really argue with the logic of voting Evac.

FUN SCUM TACTIC:
Early on, go after a civilian based on a subjective "read." Hopefully, the civilian will get super defensive, and you can use that as an impetus to lynch them. This tactic is a great way to bait civilians. Then, you can get your baddie friends to pile on, saying that they also subjectively believe that person to be fishy and scum. Hopefully, this convinces a few other civilians.
With this tactic, you can successfully eliminate logic from the game of mafia.

This is very typical of ika's town play. He tends to hyper post a lot as town and ask people to vote him if they suspect him. It's not a solid townread, but it's an indication he's playing as town right now. I realize it's far too early to have that set in stone.

If this was the GOP, that may work. (EDGY POLITICAL REFERENCE) But mafia has always been 4/5ths logic and 1/5th gut reactions. Getting rid of logic only leaves you with a 1/5 of a shot at being right.

Is everyone else supposed to immediately treat your gut as gospel and vote with you? Because if this is your entire strategy, I honestly am not sure why any of us should pay attention to you. If you think that just voting based on whims and fancies is a good way to play mafia, then cool. Play how you want to play. But don't expect anyone else to take you seriously.
