In this game series, the mafia will always have a factional kill that is not a power role. But I don't guarantee every game will have mafia. Baddies are baddies.

I dunno what this location talk is meant to serve, but you know where you'll find me, brothers. And some of you better join me or we'll all blow up to smithereens if I ever fall asleep or something.

Quin and Eloh- you guys baddie teammates again? Tell it to me straight or I'll throw both your asses in a pit.
MP- produce a rainbow list within six hours or I'll talk to Mr. Eko about introducing you to his Jesus Stick.
This post seems a bit forced, considering everyone that had posted by this point were getting down to business in playing the game and not fluffing like its day 0.
Quin wrote:insertnamehere wrote:so if the killer doesn't pick a side, RE: Beach or Hatch, he doesn't get to kill.
Is there any way we can take advantage of that?
@Golden: Can you tell us if there are multiple killers or not?
If there's only one, we could have half the players on each side, see who gets killed, then redistribute the witnesses onto opposite sides and see who gets bumped off until one person, the culprit, is left.
It'd be some kind of procedure of removal.
Nobody should give INH townie points for this, btw.
This is rather obvious. Baddies have the most knowledge of how their kill works and therefore have the most ability to come up with plans in the thread that they can get around.
Seems weird to me that you wish to control how others view the posts, though.
I will be taking a nice moonlit stroll on the beach before laying down on the sand with my feet in the water.

Call it paranoia, awareness of history, or just a woman's intuition, but I don't trust Michael.
Soneji- you'd sound the same if you spent 48 days watching the people you're with die and disappear. I won't apologize for being hardened by hard times.

Well wouldja look at that? If no one moves their asses, we got 2 people on each location. Quin and that faraday guy in hat hell hatch, and me and twinkle toes rubbin kneecaps on the beach.
We comfy with that? It would be suicide if a kill happened to any of us and they ain't killin otherwise

Coward covered this in the rules already:
Golden wrote:3) Each day, declare whether you will spend the night at the hatch or on the beach. You may only be killed by a killer in your midst at your location. If you don't declare a location, you will be considered to be spending part of the night at each and therefore can be killed by any killer at any location. If a killer does not choose a location, they cannot kill.
If no one else claims a location for the night, then those non-claimers will be considered to be at both locations. By my count, we've got six location claims and seven undecideds:
Beach Bodies
-Scotty
-Soneji
Hatchlings
-DFaraday
-Elohcin
-Quin
-Ricochet
Undeclared
-Dom
-Epignosis
-G-Man
-insertnamehere
-MovingPictures07
-Sorsha
-Spacedaisy
What if we took a chance on leaving things where they are as of right now. If the seven of us who haven't claimed a bunk for the night continue to withhold a claim, then no baddies among us get to kill. If there's a kill tonight, we'll know at least one of the six claimers is a baddie. The baaddie(s) among the six would almost certainly kill one of the seven undeclared, thereby narrowing down two fields at once. A baddie among you six could always just abstain but how long would they be willing to risk that strategy?

Converse strategy being we get everyone to claim a location and load up one location each night and only leave two people at the other (the Beach tonight, for instance). That way the baddies will try to flock to the fuller place to hide themselves in or abstain from killing if they're one of the two at the other site.

I think it's in our best interest, and I mean OUR, to declare a location so we're not in some limbo. That's just be wrong.

I realise now I didn't write that rule as clearly as I intended. People who do not decide on beach or hatch can be killed even by a killer that does not decide. Putting it another way, there is only downsides to anyone not choosing, no strategic benefits. I've updated the rule to be clearer.

I read last night but I was feeling kind of sick so instead of replying I went to bed. Sorry to be lame there guys.
Or maybe I was helping Locke break into the hatch, only to discover we can't all hide in there because it would take to long to lower everyone into it. What a waste of time that was...
Now, we need to band together, Ana you wanna help me build an army so we can kick some Others' ass?
I like that some people were looking for ways to use the location mechanic to our advantage, it's a shame the host shut that down, but I guess I can't blame him. Going to go back and see who it was that presented the plan(s).

Chances are now quite high that it doesn't matter. Daisy clinted at being Jack, who also died in the first game.
That leaves you as the only holdout. Do you believe that sharing is caring or do we need to clear out the armory in the hatch, tie you up, and make you talk?

Scotty and Gman look good to me at the moment so I doubt I'll vote them today.
Now that Golden has explained why it would not be to our benefit to not all declare a location, I'll declare that I am going back to the beach, leave that damn useless hatch to that nutcase, Locke.

What do you all (everybody) think about piling the rest of us in the hatch, leaving three people on the beach to pressure any beach-dwelling killers into abstention?

You're not listening to what I'm saying.
But 'ere you go, seldom thoughts, while I wait another hour and 8 minutes.
Honest first vibe is that G-Man's bossiness and that angle on past season survivors is that he's worth an eyeball. I can get behind being a feisty lass, still it could be more than just harmless roleplay and pep talking. I mean, I'm a prime reference in scummy =/= bad, but this kind of roleplay isn't the type you could discount as hiding behind.
Elohcin lost me with her second post. What exactly is off about Soneji's remarks. I rather find them to be eloquent enough.

G-Man losing a little of his standing with me already, that was quick. It was already pointed out that the baddies would want to be where there are more people, easier to hide. But he basically just tried to propose a plan that would allow baddies to easily hide without looking overly suspicious.
