He's not on the player list, it's true.

That's not much of a secret, if my secrecy is discerned on Day 0 because my name is separated from everyone else.Long Con wrote:Pardon me, I did miss you way down there. Are you a secret role?

How does one unstrap overalls? (don't say "very carefully", I swear to god llama)
What maniac invented a denim suit and which mental facility do they frequent?
The OP says there are 4 baddies, but it says the civs need the mafia dead to win. Are all the "baddies" mafia? Are overalls on the same team as the other 3?
Since there is only one Baddie/Mafia team, they have the ability to kill nightly.JaggedJimmyJay wrote:That wasn't my interpretation. This is an excellent question. The right strap can only kill on even nights and the left strap on odd nights, so it's impossible for both straps to be loose at the same night since a night cannot be both even and odd (watch llama have an explanation for how this is possible).Long Con wrote:With a maximum potential of 2 baddie nightkills each night, if both straps come loose?Mongoose wrote:Since there is only one Baddie/Mafia team, they have the ability to kill nightly.JaggedJimmyJay wrote:That wasn't my interpretation. Oh hells bells, Alison. Stop hosting like you got off the newbie ship yesterday.Scotty wrote:What's up with this guy:Are we lynching at night? Sounds like a reverse Mayor type of role.Denim Shirt - Talks its way out of the lynch poll for the first five nights.
If lynching happens during the day, does this mean this player will be off the poll starting day 1? And if so, I guess that clears them?
What's to stop mafia from just killing them N1?
Is this a night action, or does it happen regardless?
We will go with a more basic version of even / odd so that the following nights will be labeled as such:Metalmarsh89 wrote:A number is considered oddly even if it is only divisible by one (1) even number.Mongoose wrote:This is an excellent question. So Night 2 will see two (2) nightkills.

The question is, is the player actually going to be automatically absent from the poll, or is it a lynch immunity that is uncovered if that person gets the most votes?Mongoose wrote:Oh hells bells, Alison. Lynching is during the day. I wrote that weird because I was thinking about the night post announcing the lynch results. Lynches will all be during the day, and as such, I've edited the Denim Shirt role to reflect this.
The Denim Shirt will not be absent from the poll for the first 5 cycles, unless there's a normal game mechanic that causes him/her to be absent (such as a transparent one like winning an event).Long Con wrote:The question is, is the player actually going to be automatically absent from the poll, or is it a lynch immunity that is uncovered if that person gets the most votes?Mongoose wrote:Oh hells bells, Alison. If overalls are killed, how does mafia operate in killing from then on? Does the team inherit the action of killing every night?Mongoose wrote:Scotty wrote:Called = killedScotty wrote:I have a follow up question for @Mongoose if what you assume is true:

That autocorrect made me laugh. Overalls have the ability to kill every night ab initio (barring normal game mechanics, such as blocking, etc).
Can you clarify for the record what you mean by the ability being passed on? To another character?

Let's say Inigo Montoya is the Denim Shirt. Inigo receives the most lynch votes after all calculations have been made (Designer adds +2 and Skinny subtracts -1). S/he won't die though if it's Day 1-5. This ability is intrinsic and thus is cannot be blocked.Scotty wrote:Mongoose wrote:The Denim Shirt will not be absent from the poll for the first 5 cycles, unless there's a normal game mechanic that causes him/her to be absent (such as a transparent one like winning an event).Long Con wrote:The question is, is the player actually going to be automatically absent from the poll, or is it a lynch immunity that is uncovered if that person gets the most votes?Mongoose wrote:Oh hells bells, Alison. If the Denim Shirt is not absent from the poll, then what is the point of that role?
Or are you saying that there will be a transparent event that will affect that role? In which case, is that event a mutually exclusive event for Denim Shirt?
