Glad we have changeable votes. I am dropping a temp vote on Golden because, well, because I like voting for Golden, it's a hobby of mine and i am sure he expects it, but also his temp vote randoming for a reason. Random or not?

Any thoughts on Bass' question; do you see and benefits or drawbacks to sharing info about our roles etc?

I think prefer not to, especially this early without having discussed it. But I do know that discussing things like this is something LC likes to do himself when he plays, so I am open to sharing if people present good reasons for it.

I've never played a game like this before, S-V-S so I'm feeling somewhat like a 'fish up a tree' with this. A game of Mafia with no 'baddies' is a conundrum for me. Like you, my initial reaction is to keep my role to myself and I can't see (at this point) any compelling argument to do so. I am curious though - are there equal numbers of each element or are some more 'rare' than others? If this question has already been answered somewhere, please forgive me - I'm notorious for lack of attention early in games of Mafia

This early in the game i'm not sure if there's any benefit in doing so. It would make for a boring couple of lynches, knowing everyone's role already. I like the Element of Surprise

Given that I absolutely 100% do not want to lynch any holy elements, I differ slightly.
But I don't care about any of the other elements, so . We can let random chance handle it.

Yeah, me too, although putting people in the position of publicly begging may make them hold a grudge against the person who made them beg, so that is something to keep in mind.

I have a "People I won't vote for Day One" list. DH is one of them due to the hatchet job I did on him in Survivor.

Also, we get notified when quoted now, which is pretty sweet.

Going to be a little scarce until Thursday or Friday but I will do my best to chime in when I can. I see we can no longer click "REPLIES" in the Side Mission page to see post counts. Is there anyone who hasn't shown up yet? I'm not gunning after the no-shows just yet, because the UFH needs to be factored in to those who are late to the party at first. We'll see how I feel about that tomorrow.

Okay, I just got the pm from LC and its Darkness. I dont know who Darkness is and can't help if I chose that player but they should know that chosing to combine with me isn't advised. This is assuming that we would both get the same result from combining.

There aren't enough elements for players, btw. There could be more than one darkness player.

Riding the tide of sorsha's thing, I'll give an opposite thing: Good things happen if I find a holy element. For both of us.

@LC and BR: Are element combinings reversible? Is fire+darkness the same as darkness+fire?
