The players won't see the rosters until endgame.

I would prefer to be a Player, but wildcard game starts July 26 and then we also have moving, so I guess I have to be a Contestant. I may move if I feel I can but seems unlikely.

I'm in it as a contestant for now. I am moving next week, and in a busy work period, so if I joined as a player I'd be a liability. (Plus I'm scared to play against JJJ.) However, if sign-ups last until July 28th, I'll upgrade myself to a Player.

Oh man it kinda feels like if a game of mafia were also a round of The Genius. I'm gonna need to read more carefully how it works but I think I'll join as a contestant? Idk might change to player if I decide I feel like it, I'll decide by the time it fills up

If you're a contestant, you have one job to do Day 0 and then you sit back and watch the game.

If you are a player, it's a regular Heist for you and you are either good or bad.

What's the point system for contestants? Like what "counts" as a player "scoring" or whatever?

I am still playing with it, but the idea is civilians get points for voting for mafia, lynching mafia, while mafia get points for lynching civilians and killing power roles.

There's much more too it than that, but I'm tired and ready for bed and as I said still am working on the thing.

Basically anything resolvable at the end of a phase, Day or Night, can accrue points, be they positive or negative.

i'm assuming my goal as a contestant is to choose the players i think will survive the longest, correct? also those who will win, obv, but since only one side wins i'm likely to have a mixed bag. if sig was playing, he wouldn't be in my roster

if jjj was hosting this, sloonei wouldn't be in my roster either. time to read up on the players. i got this shit.
