It's not the easiest for me to plan around certain dates, unless it's gonna be along weekend, a 4 day weekend. But those are typically centered around holidays.

July4th would be out of question because I always visit my grandfather for his birthday, not to mention, it's 4th of July

if it happens in the summer im in no matter what unless it happens to be on July 30th (my niece's birthday) or during the con of thrones convention in Nashville which is mid july I believe...i have another group of internet homies that im gonna party with for a week during that thing. Not really interested in the convention itself lmao. anyway. those are my words on the subject.

The more I think about it....we could do something like that cabin (if not that one) for some people and then others could stay in hotels near by and the cabin can be the meet-up place. That cabin is 4000 sq ft. we could even bring air mattresses too.

I figure if we can get someone who is willing to coordinate the money and make the reservation, we can all pay that person and they can set it up. (we will need to make sure we have commitment for at least enough to sleep in the cabin. The whoever else wants to join can stay in a hotel nearby and make separate reservations individually. Are you ( [mention]Lunalee[/mention] ) a good person for coordinating the cabin reservation? I think I can trust you with my money

I wouldn't mind coordinating the reservation. It would be helpful to get specific dates nailed down with those who are interested in coming.

The one that says "sleeps 14" indicates "X No parties", which is a bizarre thing for a place that sleeps 14.

It looks neat though (and is probably fine, might just call for some contact with the owner). Unfortunately it'll be essentially impossible to project my availability with any specificity at this point. The summer conference schedule is always foggy.

If we go with this place keep in mind it is $750 per night during the summer. I was thinking about a Thursday - Sunday stay? And a food budget would probably be a good idea as well. Speed and I wouldn't mind cooking some.

This cabin will only work if we have more people committed than have signed up. A week in july is $5400, which, with only 8 adults, is $700 a person not including food. We may need a smaller, cheaper place. Also, we need to set a deadline to sign up and send money as well as a no refund policy. we cannot have people back out last minute and expect their money back.

Basically, if we only have 8 adults, we could get somethings just as nice, but smaller and pay less. But, it would be nice to try to recruit others into committing so we can fill this place up.
