What prompts a person to decide to pull a shtick for a game? A guilty conscience? A desire for more fun?

Bob's shtick comes at a time when the Day 1 is trying to rev up. Where we are looking for something to focus on. I find that the shtick has little possibility of helping further the Civ win, so what is it? A place to hide?

Of those three I am leaning civ on Kyle, actually. He is posting mostly fluff but he is engaging while bad Kyle withdraws and posts to the thread rather than to people. Don't have too much of an opinion on either of the other two yet, just impressions.

I am not in love with G Mans vote, especially as he called out MP but did not actually tag him. So for a vote (I am guessing here, he did not say much about his vote) designed to be a "I'm voting you to get your attention" style vote, he didn't try too hard to get his attention.

Re Mac, I used to always think he was bad. Now I think he's a naturally evil person, not unlike myself (in those "Which House Do You Belong In" quizzes, I always get Slytherin, lol) so I can't read him at all. So far he has not said anything alarming. I need to see more about if he actually suspects nutella and if so why, becasue I don't particularly see it yet.

Memories of speed games from The Piano days are coming back to me. Those were the days when these rapid-paced games weren’t taken so seriously. We had an understanding that those were the kinds of games where everyone could chill out, goof around, and play like crap. Sheer luck won in those games.

Since we no longer live in that era, I don’t know what to tell you. At least everyone has posted so far, which is a better start than most games. Had Day 1 started tonight, my participation could be better. Alas, today is busy and I’ll have to vote well before the deadline.
