Aww, that's nice! What are you guys up to?
Well we just got back from Skyline (a local chili place based in Cincinnati) for dinner, and now we're watching more Doctor Who. I think I finally converted another one!
Skyline Chili? We have those here; I wonder if it's the same chain!
Wow, seriously? It is definitely a local chain, though I know they had one in Tampa, presumably because of the snowbirds/retirees from this area moving down.
Also, yes, it's looking likely I will be a Doctor Who convert. Proudly.
Post coming soon! Still waiting on one vote, though it seems it may not come.
The players have arrived at Chapter 1: The Forest.
It is now Night 0. You have 24 hours to find Dr. Fetus!
To find Dr. Fetus, send me a PM with a number selection of one of the levels from the map above. If you wish, you may instead choose a warp zone level; if you do so, specify which one you want to visit. This procedure will be the same for all of the Heroes (except Bandage Girl) during every night period. If you have questions, PM me!
Oh man this looks complicated. First characters made of meat and now math! What madness does this game have in store next?

It does look like it's the same chain! We have one in north St Pete and one in Clearwater too. I had no idea it was a transplant, probably because I've never been inside. Don't forget TorchwooD!
I see a bunch of people online, but no one is making a post. It makes me want to lynch them so bad!

Don't be silly. You are as civvie as the day is long.

I did not think that civilianness was a matter of degrees, but I will accept your compliment notwithstanding.
Thank you, but yes, some civilians are more civilian than other civilians. (they know who they are)

You would go after The Animal Alliance???
Since I am part of the animal alliance, that does not sound like something I would do.

I was watching it tonight and am at the beginning of Season 5. I have converted my husband to Doctor Who now as well. So successfully in fact, that he is now watching season 6 without me, the bastard. I cannot wait for this game next year.
Ok, back to on topic meat. PMs with numbers, hmm this seems important.
Very important distinction to make as well. It is the Animal Sanctuary Squad. Animal Alliance or AA is not really what we are about.
Linki - another A.S.S. member was faster than me.

Yes, you are allowed.
Should we try and coordinate our searches?
There's 14 of us, 15 if you count the Indie role. There's either 20 or 22 levels in the game. (Host - Does the first yellow square count as a level? What about the skull square? If Bandage Girl is found in a level, will we find out what level she was hidden in, or who found her?) If the latter is right, we could use this as a tool.
Well I can say I already picked a level at random. I went with #9. Not sure how else we could figure out how to pick a level other than we all choose a different one to increase our chances.

The yellow square and skull spaces are not levels. Only the 20 levels and the various warp zones (the swirly purple/red ones).
If Bandage Girl is found, you will not find out what level she was in nor what player or role found her. So it will say something like "Dr. Fetus has been found; the players pursue the villain in a new world."
However, the player who did find her will be notified via PM that they were successful.

Any idea what picking a warp zone would do? I'm going to guess something both positive and negative, since this is an MP game.. I'm not going to try that yet, but I'm very curious!
I'm going to go with level one, but I noticed that boom and bwt are already double-covering nine?
Night 0?? Have there always been night 0s or is this another socky mindfuck I am experiencing?
My apologies to all my peeps if my activity isn't as high as it used to be! I am closing accounts for more hotels than I've ever had this month and they keep increasing the number of reports we have to run, change, look at, and analyze
Anywho, the strategy for finding bandage sounds pretty great. I am going to search in level 1, though, because 1. "Who would think of looking there for bandage girl?" is what my mind is telling me Dr. Fetus is thinking and 2. because it sounds like the easiest level and the least likely to kill me right off the bat.

Dev - I didn't say they were good theories, haha. Congrats on your nuptials, btw.
I am theorizing that certain levels have booby traps. I think it's best we don't double up on searching the same level for this very reason (as well as the fact that in terms of finding Dr Fetus it would be duplicative, in other words, redundant). I don't think safety in numbers very much applies to this realm.
I am also theorizing that the person who finds Dr Fetus may not live through the process, so s/he may be a martyr for the glorious cause of meat procurement.

I am not going to tell you guys what number I picked, but it was a really awesome one. Make of that what you will.

Sure, let's go with that.

6 is a good number. 9 is good as well. My oldest child was born on the 19th, my daughter on the 29th, and my youngest son on the 9th. No more babies here unless we decide to change our calendar to allow 39 days in the month. Hehe!
Banners are cool, but a pain to scroll through so...
I've won a lot of games. I've hosted some games. The end.
