I'm not grilling you, I'm trying to have a conversation. Allow me to progress it a little.
The Secret Santa is a gift. The recipient may get a game advantage. Are these declared townreads, these Gift Requests to the host? I don't want to come across as Scrooge, but what if you gave your gift to a Wolf? When they go down, Pepperidge Farms Remembers.

Whaaaaat, no, I expected as much, I didn't want to have to tune into Night Zero. Night Zero where I come from is about casual talk, fluff, and maybe a little prod I dunno. I expect play to start for real on Day 1.

I got something already. It is good, not bad. Getting something good has evidence. Did someone get something bad? Because that's just a theory right now. I don't endorse a plan based on assuming that.
But I might be coming around to the idea of a prize blitz. My game-sensibilities are fickle, it seems. Maybe we SHOULD spice this up as much as possible!

When you think about it, wolves are more likely to receive items due to their partners knowing who they are. That just ensures everything is balanced!
That's mathematically false.
Civilians are more likely to receive something simply because there are...you know...more of them.
Mafia can privately strategize, which is something that would be really helpful for me right now.
