The crook, in my expert opinion, must therefore be Hedgeowl.
314 are also the first three digits of pi, which reminds me of pie. There's only one thing here we can put into pies, and they are turnips.

My vote is going with turnip head.
what I said to Epi up there goes for you too. Why not wait to vote and, you know, discuss suspicions before randomly voting for someone with out so much as an "have an apple".

So basically a half hour after the day starts you vote. Odd vote is odd. Are you so busy that you wouldn`t be on forum for 23 1/2 hours?
Betcha thought I'd clam up to you givin' me the third, but I'm wise to this game. Spose I'm right and you let the highblinders talk you right out of a nabbin' a button man.

And then some mugs'll run true here and make like they're doin' it random, never mind what anybody says to 'em. You gonna grill them too?

S'pose you are right about Hedgeowl, old sport. You got anything else on her? All's ya got here is conjecture, wild theories and loose connections. I can't go to the papers with this! They're gonna want sources, details. They're gonna want answers!

Y' know, that's funny.

Listen, ya newshank. Sometimes ya gotta put the screws to the trouble boys before any of 'em'll say a few syllables.

Most of the time, sun comes up, and people are either bumping their gums or lookin' for an easy reason to give somebody the jump. Well, the way I see it, you give 'em an easy reason and then you start to get some place.

You have me in stitches. Good thing because I might need em when the mob comes to lynch me ya see? I am as straight as they come. This dame may be all flash and sparkle to look at, but don't be dazzled by my duds. I am a country gal from Ohio just trying to make my way in this big city like anyone else sonny.

But seriously, points to you for the funniest vote I have ever received and I applaud the commitment to it.

I believe SVS was askin about the Day 0 poll. I spent the day at the newspaper room. Epi, as indicated by his babbling and slurred speech, spent his time and coin at the speakeasy down the street.

This is weird for me.
Was Epi being serious??? (Serious question). Because it seems like you're treating his suspicion of Hedgie as serious, and I'm not sure I understand that.
It would have, to me, made more sense if you were saying you're not convinced on either Epi or Meta (since they're the ones who IMO did something to be concerned about (although I am not), not Hedgie). So I am a little puzzled as to this.

What I meant is that I am not convinced that Epig has nefarious purposes. I think he's probably joking... And I think that anyone who votes Hedge isn't getting that.

I think I was unclear; I meant that I thought that some people may have been required to post a certain way due to their votes in the poll. I did not get any results like that from my vote in the poll.

I did ask earlier who voted what as switching threads while posting on phone is a bitch. But that was unrelated to the post you quoted.

It used to be a normal, very useful function on The Piano (RIP), my home mafia site. I am so sad that it's not a thing here because I used to use it all the time. Thank you, Epi, for doing the grunt work on that.

Okay, I've got the in-character stuff out of my system. Just keep an open mind, everyone, that you should probably imagine there's a tongue-sticking out smiley at the end of most of my sentences even if I forget to put one there. Sometimes my words only capture the sarcastic side of my tone and not my playful side. I'm a silly, fun turnip. No sheesh'ing should be required after reading any of my posts :)

Also yay for the people chiming in to correct me

So are people just talking like Noir characters for the shiggles? I was thinking if it was a result of the poll, i would let the shotgun votes go, but if there was no compulsion, I am still not sure what I think of it.

I was not forced to do anything, was just for the lulz, I doubt anyone else was either. Epi's vote seems to be to gauge reactions. Metalmarsh's was because she didn't realize you couldn't change your vote. Lizzy voted for herself but that seems usual.

Yeah, but it hasn't played out that way so far. Most people seem to understand what his intentions were, no one is thinking of piling onto his Hedgeowl vote.

I think a reaction vote is just as useful, Day 1, as a random vote or any other silly Day 1 reason.

For one, i don't love your randomized vote onto someone who already has a vote, thus making her the vote leader. For another, you voted randomly early since you were busy, yet you still returned for some commentary on how voting for Hedge would be a mistake. I could see more than one reason for this. So I am watching you Dom, but not voting you at this point.

Linki~ OK, but my point was that in GENERAL it's not a good idea IMO. Regardless of someones reasons for doing it, it can lead to a bad end. I have seen it, i am sure you have too. When he cast that first vote he had no clue how reasonable this group would be (he knows us; reasonable? :haha: ) It's a risk I don't like.

Haha. That's a good point. We do seem to be a pretty reasonable bunch so far. :D

I agree that Dom's vote post is weird. I feel like he was acting like there was a case on Hedge that people were discussing, when really it was just Epi's vote (for whatever reason he made it). Dom randomized, so he himself is not part of the lynch, but in that post you quoted above he's trying to set it up as being an Epi vs. Hedge lynch while he's gone.

Look, I was around when that all went down, and it seemed like Lizzy had just done a number on herself right before Dom gave her the ol' evil eye.

A lot can happen in four minutes, you know what I'm sayin'?

There's no case, pal. Dom voted right after Lizzy did. Lickety-split.

I didn't think about this but it's true. At first his response seemed fine & nothing in it pinged me.
And I forgot that here someone is always lynched so now I don't know how to take this.

Rats and mice.

You tell me how many miss the vote, and I'll vote the way you want me to on Day 2.

And... I've got nothing for a vote, and I'm won't be around again until after the poll is done so I went to the poll for clues.

Spacedaisy is misspelled as Speacedaisy, and I'm pretty sure that extra e is to create the idea in our minds that she is peaceful, and that is clearly a trap.

Or I'm using my vote to justify pointing out a mistake, but really, who can know?

Linki: And I thought 6 was optimistically low...

Well the Dom voting Lizzy thing is the most pingy to me after a read through but I have to wonder would he vote for her if his vote was not random just a few minutes after she voted herself? Maybe.
