If Keterman switches to "play" maybe we can start this weekend, if Roxy is up for that.
LETS ALL SPAM KETERMAN
Also if you are looking for reading material, here is Reys sign up thread for X-Men vs Avengers: http://forum.revolutionmafia.com/viewto ... 74#p214574 he has some interesting roles

Hey, is there any difference between speed games and normal games beside longer day/night, and play count?

A speed game must be 19 players or fewer, while a full game is for 20 players or greater.

Strategy tends to be a bit different, jumping out of the gate and voting is more suspicious, things like that. People tend to develop cases more and go on gut less, but that depends on the player. Baddies tend to play a bolder game in speed games since the civs have less time to discuss, and the numbers crunch favors the civs. You see a lot more blendiness in full games, people lying low and seeing what develops. You also see more overanalysis (:whistles:) in full games.
So technically, other than number of players and length of cycles, not really. But, yes, gameplay strategy & tactics tend to be different.
This is just my opinion, obviously.

I don't think I play differently, but I have little patience for 48 hour days, so I play every game like it i a speed game because I am so excited to get moving.

I second this, hi people I don't really know that well! I know some of you have come from another site to try a game here at The Syndicate, well if you're really into Mafia, won't you take that additional step into the unknown and dip your toe in at Revolution Mafia? I know some of you must be Avengers/X-Men fans, so this is really the perfect opportunity! I promise a welcoming and fun Mafia community, most of whom you will probably see here at The Syndicate as well!

I second the opinion; this seems true, generally. Helpful insight.
