Maybe a Thursday? Since most teams play 3-game series to start the week, Thursdays after those games have happened would split the week better.

Actually, having a mid-week update will help me remember to send out a reminder notice for everyone to make their picks for the next week. It's a win-win.

If you need assistance at any point, let me know. I like looking at stats and things, so if you're ever unavailable I'll gladly put together the weekly report.

I feel you. The Reds will sometimes play at 9:30 AM, and while I can easily see the results the day of, it's difficult to watch or follow along live sometimes.

Exactly. Anytime the Reds have a West Coast trip, I'm sometimes up until 1:30 watching baseball. It just sucks the next day at work is all.

Houston isn't letting MP07 down too much and the same can be said for Russ and the White Sox. Well, I was hoping for slow and steady after the A's first few games but they stumbled today. I have no idea who to go with for next week. The naive answer is to go with whoever scored big this week but baseball probably doesn't work that way. Or does it? Maybe I'll go with whoever has the most games against the Padres.

My Week 2 team will be the Washington Nationals.

@G-Man: So how do you handle games that are postponed? Cleveland's final game with Boston yesterday was postponed. Will I get credit for any runs by Cleveland when they have their make up game?

It doesn't matter when the game is scheduled, only when it is played. Otherwise it will require more stat tracking than I'd like. Plus, this adds an element of intrigue to the season.

AllAlongtheBoardwalk is currently out of town and doesn't think he'll be able to log on, so he texted me to tell you he wants to pick the Yankees.

I'm actually going to go back on what I said and pick the San Diego Padres for this week. My thinking is they're on the rebound after a bad start. Hopefully they found their bats with their last game. Besides, the Phillies stink, right? I see they have four games against them.

I have not been to New Hampshire, nor have I met the old man in the mountain.

There's hardly any money to be made in rock climbing though, so I doubt any of them would go to the trouble of doping for it. :P
