It's time to reassess. Plenty of content to analyze and dissect.

However, I have to go now. I spent way too much time here as it is. I'll see what I can do before D2, but it might not be a whole lot.

You seem to be favoring the CFD strategy more and more, to the point where I'd expect it from you regardless of alignment.

All CFD's really do is remove logic and reason from the game. Sometimes that can randomly work, but most of the time, we all get screwed over.

Then again, I think a toss-up between one or more people who all have decent cases behind them can be good, but this culture of "this random person said one thing kinda fishy in EOD, let's lynch them instead of the person with actual points against them" is poison.

Once again, MP, you seem genuine town to me. I just don't agree with how you're being it.

And I'm not saying that everyone has to agree with the way I play. You can disagree with everything I said, and that's coolio. I don't want this to become bogged in a gameplay debate. I still have mental scarring because of ol' Edgar Allen. But when people are pressuring me into the hotseat, I'm gonna say something.

Some people think time and pressure helps them.

I think the opposite.

Despite thinking that Nutella was the best option after a cursory skim of the thread while I was speeding to stop people from mislynching me, this result doesn't come as a surprise; it's the natural product of hectic EOD's, IMO.

Or, to be less coy, I'm worried about Epi.

I'm worried that we were barking up the wrong tree and looking at the wrong droids through the entire EOD. If nut and FZ are town, I'd suspect Epi some. Reasons:

Gut

Wilgy's read (which I want clarification on)

The way Epi was good early then didn't show up as much (still here, but not memorable aside from vote switching)

All the vote switching

Changeable votes are a civilian advantage. With unchangeable votes, people vote and fuck off elsewhere. That tends to reduce pressure and the resultant discussion. Now you get to judge the motivations behind the vote movement.

Shit, I realized that I wanted to address something re: strategy, so I'm here for now to just say:

I understand we've opted to not bluntly state peeks. That's cool. And I can't tell you all how to play.

But if the mafia know how to play this setup and strategize properly, they are going to try to discern who they think is most likely the cop and kill that player tonight. Please don't let that scare you though. We need your reads. The cop already has one person they KNOW is town (right? since we confirmed a n0 peek?), and they can uncover more if they live beyond tonight.

If town wants to protect the Cop, everyone needs to provide multiple reads if they haven't already. And if you're the Cop, please disguise your read as a believable in-thread read. We need all the information out there so that the Cop can't be uncovered, but we also need to make sure that, god forbid the mafia get lucky and kill the Cop N1 like they did in Parks and Rec, that fellow townies are able to at the least discern who their peek(s) are. The cop didn't even leave behind their N0 peek in Parks and Rec because no one else gave them any cover. Let's not repeat that. So far I think most of us have done a good job, but I just want to make my perspective on this abundantly clear.

They do if the civilians win. They don't if the civilians lose. Simple as that.

In a scenario where you have to be alive to win as a civilian, I would grant that the chaotic redistribution of votes near the end would not be advantageous. This is no such scenario. Mafia have teammates to save, throw under the bus, or ignore. And they can't see the future.

The order of votes was that the 3 on FZ came before the 4 on Hazelnut. I don't think it's likely there was a bussing on Hazelnut meaning a busser would have to tie thier teammate up if they are into that, then put them in the lead.

The exception would be Epignosis. Epignosis wouldn't have known in a 3v1 scenario that Hazelnut could take the lead, thus making him a possible busser.

This is all on the assumption Hazelnut is bad.

Going back to work. Lynch Epi everyone.
If this reasoning hinges on Nut being scum, why not vote Nut instead who actually already have a vote on her? As I see it Epi is pretty unlikely to get lynched as it stands, or do you disagree with this?
