My reading is that each character accesses different powers from different shrines. So as an example. Altmer Noble may be able to access shrines A, B, C, D and E. Argonian Mage may be able to access shrines C, D, E, F and G. Both can access shrine C but they get different powers from accessing shrine C based on the flavor of C as well as their own character's flavor.
One of the powers I can access from a shrine is confirmable and I think pretty pro-town.

The difference between townies doing it and mafia doing it is that townies do it for the memes and have a laid back sarcastic tone about it all. Mafia plunge deep into it in a very performative way because they secretly feel anxiety that people will believe it and therefore make the theatricality of the claim as obvious as possible. It is also a way to generate what is essentially fluff content and they like leaning into that while claiming it is NAI because they do it as town too. Seanzie's claim is much more scummy than townie. However his lack of follow-up is a slight uptick as it shows that he doesn't have the intention of shitting the thread up with fluff while calling it NAI.

I don't think you have played with him from what I can see, some people from what I have seen have a general mistrust when someone gives easy town reads. There is no problem with him finding it uncomfortable. You are thinking in a very unidirectional way. Though I am getting town vibes from your post but this doesn't help town.

i have the stealth mod installed where you can put on the special hood or whatever and you get treated as a different character than when you don't have it on.
