Aye, 'could be wolfin' means you are PoE, but I don't think you are the wolf is a better way to put it. It's somewhat strictly the silly vote that entails a 'possible smokescreen' to consider.

Your post #135 and #320 are at least reflective of a town hunter mindset.

With SVS being nightkilled, I like in theory going back and following SVS's solve #316, but pyxxy opted to go through and offer their own take on SVS's reads #523, but the part I don't like is that SVS had three town reads (DrWilgy, myself, and Sabi), and pyxxy took hedged on them and turned them into wolfreads, or didn't say anything about them.

The only townread that pyxxy had in her readlist is Sean, one she also disagreed with SVS on.

- falcon: yeah I mean looks like a bunch of other townies can't read town!Falcon either, so, reasonable take

- lucy (you): accurate. you didn't say much D1

- neon: POE for lack of similarities to other Neon town games, I can't speak to that, but I personally townlean Neon here after watching the end of the NPC game

- Seanzie: pulled this exact same s*** in the NPC game but idt SVS knew this, I townlean Seanzie for it and also for digging but not knowing about locked votes, I think it's totally believeable based on my experience with him in the NPC game

- mac: reasonable take

I probably should have waited though, pyxxxy made a good point that digging early is pro-town in order to give the powers to the townies.

I really do think that everyone who has posted at least a few times thus far is town.

Nobody has bothered to push Sean or myself for making a not-optimal play to start the game, or if they are it's doing so inquisitively, and not a heavy-handed push. Given there's very little else to talk about thus far (aside from mech), I do think a wolf would take the opportunity to push it.


I know Dennis is pressing me about it, but I think the manner with which he's doing it strikes me as townie.

Sean, SVS, pyxxxy, and fingersplints also fall into that camp of players I think are town for their opening.

I just assembled a towncore, have fun with it.

Of the group of townreads I mentioned, the two that I think I could be wrong on are:

Sean: yeah he did the same thing as I did, but I do think it's in Sean's wolf range to do that.
pyxxxy: all of her discussion has been mech-related thus far, and wolves hiding behind mech discussion as their primary content early on isn't uncommon.

Were we supposed to take this post seriously? Or does it not count now that Falcon flipped town?

The wolves are MacDougall, pyxxy, and falcon45ca.

This post makes me want to town Sabi and scumteam you with lucy, Marmot.

I agree lucy hasn't been involved at all either, but I don't feel like pressuring her today after the way Cartomancy ended. I'd rather give her a little space for today.

I don't really want to chop Sabi on their birthday, and also I know they're going to be busy today, so I'm mostly leaving them alone today too.




Other people might have different opinion on not pressuring people based on out-of-game reasons. If it wasn't Day 1, I would probably approach this differently, but since it is Day 1, I feel ok with it.

I'm sussing a group of people because how thread feels. It feels solvey, it doesn't feel controlled, and I'm thinking that means there must be at least one wolf in the less active group.

Does that make sense? I am not suspicious of you because you're out of normal posting habits, I am suspicious of a group of people you are included in because of thread state.

Has the game thread felt solvey? Because elast I checked people have complained how quiet and meh it has been. Doesn't seem that towny.

That was just me I thought, and I realized after there's only 10 people in this and most people have lives. So taking that into consideration, yeah I think it has been rather solvey.

Actually kinda how I was feeling just looking at the wagon structure over night and my general thoughts on the game though I usually like to wait a couple days before focusing in on that.

Oddly enough, I think I townlean Dennis for the 'mistake vote on me' after Cartomancy, I don't think W!Dennis makes that mistake and then admits to the mistake. Given the context of them being busy as well, it makes sense.

Pyxxy could be wolfin, but I think I'm doubting. It felt that they had very little hunting and alot of mechanic poop early. The more recent posts this cycle seems very similar to their NPC game though. the NPC game at least would be indicative of how they play without data.

Splints is just a wolf IMO. Voted Falcon when that wasn't a good vote, invalidated mechanical discourse, gave an excuse to falcon flipping green before it was done.

Falcon was town, so I can’t argue that it was a good vote, but my reasons were genuine. I’ve wrongfully suspected him a lot in the past to the point where he is one of the first people I read so that I can look for town signs in him, and I thought that I had figured some out but I wasn’t seeing them this game. Regardless of whatever happens this game, that will be what I am most disappointed in because I thought I could finally read him but obviously still can’t

How did i “invalidate mechanical discourse”? You can check literally every single game I play and it is never something I discuss much but I don’t have a problem when others do. To reiterate as I said, the only time I could see it being a problem is if that’s only what someone wants to talk about as wolves can use mech discussion to look like they are participating more than they are. I haven’t seen that here so it’s a moot point

I don’t think I have an excuse to him flipping green. Only I thought that his flip would generate a lot of discussion, which it has. A lot of people mentioned falcon either way so it gives a discussion point. Better than say your vote for me which also would have had the same result, but would have less connections to make.
