I tend to agree. Problem is..I know who I DON'T want to vote for, but I don't know who I WANT to vote for, and my eyes are getting very tired :/
You can do one of two things if you want my advice.

You can vote for me (I won't be lynched today).

Or you can vote for MP. Recall your time with him in The Hobbit. Was he around and helpful? I think sabie fucked up and he made the most of it.
Sorry, but since you've never been on a team of mine before you'd never know, but I would NEVER be absent for a teammate. I bug the fuck out of my teammates.

Lol, I didn't look at the distribution of the votes when I made those posts, Elo. I didn't realize there was vote manipulation this game, but now I think I get it. But just ignore me. :P I just couldn't believe Blooper was lynched and I assumed it was because we voted to lynch her, but there is obviously more way vote manipulation this game than I thought. But now it makes sense.

I understand. I always make it a point to look at the polls thread before posting after a lynch b/c I don't want to look like an idiot. (Not calling you an idiot btw.) Have I ever mentioned how much I hate vote manipulation? It makes me not even want to TRY to figure anything out. My smarts are in my creativity, I am not an intellect like many of you. So...I will sit back and ride this out. I will go with my instincts, but don't count on me for trying to figure out why so-and-so gets lynched over the person who got the most votes. :sigh:

When we were teammates, everyone seemed to be doing their own thing without really consulting one another, including MP. Which I understand you shouldn't have to explain EVERYTHING you will or have done in the thread (in BTSC) but it is good to be on the same page by consulting with your teammates.

Hi all. I've read half of the game, will get to the second half later today. So glad to be playing this!

* I've been on a team with MP at least twice, but he never seemed to have a lot of time to "bug anything" out of any of his teammates. Maybe he was exaggerating, or maybe he does in some games with other players?

Yeah, but I got lynched D1. How much can you scheme when one dies before even the first night?

Don't listen to Epig, he's wrong about me. Occam's razor suggests Sabie had an uninvolved teammate. That is NOT me and it would never be me. I would have PMed her at the least, especially in a situation like that. I'd bet at least one of kpence, kevin, and Canuck are her teammates.

Heaven forbid I EVER actually help us find a baddie because when I do, everyone just thinks I'm throwing a teammate under the bus. Seriously, consider another perspective guys! I am not bad. I definitely wouldn't be making this many mistakes if I were bad either.

Linki Mata I look forward to your thoughts. I don't even remember the times we were teammates, really, they must have been a while ago and when I wasn't as active. Since being on TS, I am always an incredibly active team member. Just refer back to MOTU or WWE.

I may be quick to throw my teammates under the bus, but I cherish my teammates. There's no way Sabie would have posted the way she did because I would have contacted her.

With my thoughts on Blooper being wrong, it's very clear we're dealing with a case of Occam's razor.

I am sure you do. Like how not voting in one when you don't have a kill that night can make you look better. :ponder:

The poll ended at 11:06 pm EST last night. Your reaction post came in at 11:09 pm EST.
MovingPictures07 wrote:WTF!!! I thought I still had time?!?!!?
You followed up with this:
MovingPictures07 wrote:Sorry everyone, I had dinner with my PhD cohorts and then had to stop by the grocery store and I thought I'd be back a bit sooner.

RIP Blooper. WTF EVERYONE! How could you lynch Blooper?!?! Will catch up in a second.
That's an unusual alibi for someone who seems like he JUST missed the poll. But never mind. What I am more interested in is your outrage that people lynched Ninja Blooper (we didn't, by the way- we tried to lynch you).
MovingPictures07 wrote:Seriously, what the hell, guys??? Was it not obvious she was that role and why I backed off of her??? Wow, WTF.
This is a blatant fabrication. How was it obvious that she was a role blocker?

Bass asks how it was obvious that she was that role.

Now, after this point, I had slept, and I thought that you could be the Chief- beyond that, I have no idea how you survived. That's why I said I would have to trust you. But that cannot be true for two reasons:

First the obvious one: You claim you got the Cop and the Chief mixed up. That means you cannot be either.

Second, and less obvious, you said that you "backed off" her because her role was obvious. Now consider: If you could switch a lynch, and you were good, you would switch to your biggest suspicion. If the lynch got switched to Ninja Blooper, and you would lead us to believe that you are the Chief (and I think you have hinted that; see below), that would mean that you still suspected her. But you claim you backed off.

I read your posts, by the way, and it does not appear that you backed off her in any significant way. But that isn't what's important. Just interesting.
MovingPictures07 wrote:Don't listen to Epig, he's wrong about me. Occam's razor suggests Sabie had an uninvolved teammate. That is NOT me and it would never be me. I don't see how Occam's razor applies to this situation. Occam's razor states that when there are competing hypotheses, the one that has the least number of assumptions is probably right (not necessarily right).

An uninvolved teammate seems probable, but sabie12 has two teammates, and I would argue that at least one of them is decidedly not uninvolved. Who would try to kill me Night 1? More likely someone who knows me and has experienced me in times past. A "noob" would kill anybody.
MovingPictures07 wrote:Heaven forbid I EVER actually help us find a baddie because when I do, everyone just thinks I'm throwing a teammate under the bus. Seriously, consider another perspective guys! I am not bad. I definitely wouldn't be making this many mistakes if I were bad either.

With my thoughts on Blooper being wrong, it's very clear we're dealing with a case of Occam's razor.
How could you control sabie? How could you ensure that she even opened your PM? Which thoughts on Blooper were wrong? The ones when you voted for her or the ones you didn't express in the thread? And how is this a case of Occam's razor? You're offering a lot of assumptions here.
MovingPictures07 wrote:Also, think very clearly about the fact that I survived that lynch when I was two votes ahead. Think VERY carefully about the fact that there are no "secrets" by baddies and READ THE CIVVIE ROLES and think about how I've been voting. Enough said.
Yes. I'm thinking. :ponder:

Already I am sure that you are not the Chief, because you would not have confused that role with the Cop. The good news is that if you ARE the Chief and I'm wrong about this, then you can stop the lynch and be okay. :)

Epig, yes, ignore the first half of those posts you quoted. :P I came in the thread, saw Blooper was lynched, thought WTF, and was confused how I missed the vote because my alibi was true and I thought the poll was over at 10:30 and that I'd have dinner at 6:00 and go to the grocery and be home by 9:00 or 9:30 at the latest, but it turns out that's not what happened. It also explains why I said I have to go but I'll be back but probably not too much before the vote's end when I left that afternoon.

Now I didn't bother to check the voting thread right away because I knew there were no outright vote manipulation roles and no secrets. So that explains the next few posts you quote. Then I finally realized that it seemed more people said they were voting me in the thread than Blooper so I checked the voting thread and THEN I realized no one actually tried to lynch Blooper. Then I thought about how I could have possibly survived that lynching, given Blooper's role, and now I get it.

Also, I obviously thought Blooper was the Chief since I thought she switched the vote to S~V~S the previous day, but that was off. So I am obviously not that role. I am a different civilian role, however.

Occam's razor does apply though: Read Sabie's posts yourself. She obviously was left to hang dry. Though I will agree with you that two completely inactive teammates seems more unlikely than just having one really inactive teammate, the former is still a possibility, given kevin and kpence were new and Canuck wasn't around to make the vote, and has also been really absent. Mongoose has also been relatively absent. So those are four possibilities for baddie teammates right there that would explain the Sabie situation with the least amount of assumptions.

If you assume that I'm her teammate, which I'm not, then you assume that my case on Blooper was fabricated, and you also assume that I missed the vote last day period on purpose, which I did not.

And the mistakes I made were CLEARLY these: I misunderstood how the killing roles worked when I came in and saw no death for N2, and then all of the Blooper stuff at the beginning of N3. What you are NOT seeing here is a tactful, evil sock; it's just a civvie sock who comes in here and makes posts without fully analyzing the situation because he's trying to balance PhD work, a giant Doctor Who game, and this game, all at the same time.

And yes I realize I offer up assumptions in my defense, but you're making a ton of assumptions in thinking I'm bad.

Think about it harder, Epig. What is the only possible civilian role that could survive a lynch poll due to picking favorable options and have knowledge of doing so? There's only one. i can't be any more clear TBH.
