It just feel like a really bad decision to me considering how consistently wrong we've been, and it doesn't feel like y'all are acknowledging the possibility of being us being as wrong now as were then.
i think there's a difference in solving mindset that's throwing you for a loop
wrongly chopping long con and ellie doesn't necessarily tell me that everything i believe about the game is wrong. you might note that in this game i have hardly ever even "scum read" anyone -- it's just process of elimination. someone is a town read or they are not. the names involved in each side of that dynamic can and do change, but one plays a POE game understanding that there 100% guaranteed townies among the people POE'd. there literally must be.
i encourage you to pursue your suspicions, and i will listen. it will also be good to give nutella/esooa/tutuu something clear that they'll respond to and we can all see how we feel when that happens

okay, but that means you're entire POE was wrong. like shit happens, lord knows i've been fool times a plenty.
This also means your entire potential teammates chart was wrong. it was never made x ellie, made x michelle, ellie x michelle, michelle/esooa/bbyyoda and so on...
not only were we wrong we hammered twice, almost hammer'd michelle too.
from my pov. ellie & michelle both coming up clear is WILD,like i was so sure she was going to flip red. i can't imagine if i was so wrong on all 3 of my poe. Again, maybe difference in approach...

My poe was more people than just the ellie/made/michelle trio. my teammate chart is almost certainly screwed, and that's something i will contend with as i move forward with the day.

Anyway, I think this is a setup where randomly fake claiming is an explicitly terrible mafia decision. If the claim fits in the game, the real player with that role counter claims. If the claim does not fit in the game, the town power roles will be able to determine that from the matrix and know that it's fake.

that's absolutely a question i will seek to answer today. i want to know how all of my poe people fit together (or don't). if i have the time i might post full analyses instead of just the chart. if none of my suspects fit together or few teams seem to work, then that would suggest to me that either my analysis is wrong or one+ of my town reads is wrong

People that I read as town and kept out of my POE yesterday are now in it: Alison, DkKoba
It's not that they suddenly look worse, it's that they seem like the appropriate names to add to the POE in place of Made and Michelle right now. They seem more appropriate to me than nutella or tutuu. Does that make sense?
