And now I didn't like how he put in discussion the apparently refusal from me to talk mechanical infos.
Also in a thread with so many players no one agreed to pressure Nanook, instead a lot jumped on Ted.

I think i just answered Sloonei, there is prob more to say but these 2 things caught my eye the most

This post, for instance. Maybe Michelle does this sort of thing often and I simply have never taken notice of it. But I cannot recall ever being rebuffed like this by Michelle.

She came in with a very firm town read on Ted. While this was happening, I was in the middle of a conversation with Ted where I felt like looked very very guilty. I asked Michelle if she would like to read this exchange and weigh in. since she was sporting a very different read than mine. I am town-reading Michelle at this point. I am asking simply because I want her input.

She responds with a question, the answer to which should be evident: Yes, of course I think the conversation is alignment-indicative. That is why I am trying to address it.
She then tells me she will not be reading it, at least not right away. I was not trying to assign Michelle a task, as she puts it. I was half asking for help, half checking to see if she would be willing to change her read on ted. But she flatly passed on doing anything. I don't disbelieve Michelle when she says she prefers to catch up sequentially, but this felt like a totally unnecessary dodge of my request, and I'm not sure I've ever seen Michelle be so obstinate about not being told what to do before.

Dom is hard null because a total absence of content usually points towards extenuating real life circumstances rather than anything alignment indicative. Just a feeling I got, multiple times when reading your posts. And I did try to factor in things like honesty level and newly-returnedness, and I still retained some gut suspicion.

I don't feel like telling us why we should vote for nanook should be this hard. You said you looked at my ISO. If that's true, you'd see nanook is a scum-lean for me. If you give me a compelling reason why nanook is the most pressing chop right now, there's a chance I'll follow you on it.

To put it bluntly nanook is POE'd because of bad associatives with Marmot and based on the way he's playing this game he's unlikely to ever escape it unless his role helps him do so. He is a lesser priority than the "nuke these mfers now" tier because his posting hasn't been as scummy and because he's not actively trying to cause chaos or derail the thread. I know nanook isn't exactly slanking but he sort of fills the same archetype as a slanking POE slot right now.

TSP is far and away my greatest suspect. I unfortunately have a bit of tunnel vision there, where I find his posts distracting me from scum hunting properly til it’s resolved. I need to spend some more time on other people to completely formulate precisely what it is that bothers me about them but this is to the best of my ability from memory.
I think the case on ted has merit. I was in process of rereading posts there and I really found them lacking. A lot of quantity there and not much to them. I hope to have more thoughts on this another time
I think Al is potentially scum. Some of their recent posts seem to be trying to stir up trouble about some of the cleared players. Like in terms of “why is Alison not doing this” “why is she even lock clear” “why did tutuu dip”. I’m pretty sure they said they were caught up, so it doesn’t seem productive to be putting doubt on those players right now. I’ve never played with this player before, and it’s their first game here but it seems from comments they have enough experience

I know you only asked for three, but I’m also starting to consider LC more. I don’t buy his frustration is from his towny self. I said I blocked him last game I played with him and his response in the thread was like “lol shit even if vote for me!” Much better humoured then some of this. Maybe he’s having a bad day, but some of his recent posts about me have caught my attention too. (I commented to them earlier)
I’m also concerned about Dom. Not a line of thought I’m actively pursuing right now in light of stronger lynch candidates, but they’ve given us nothing and more been replaced. At some point we have to make a read there and I just don’t see how we can. I was excited to see Dom on the players list, but I don’t want to give anyone a free pass

i’ve seen alison have extremely confident and accurate snap reads off a few entrance posts before. her accurately v reading mac and jay off their entrances doesn’t surprise me

Having played about a zillion games where nanook and I were scum partners in the last year+, this game has not been strayed very far from his usual scum tactics.

That is without factoring in the Marmot associatives.

After the Champs games I sweared to not put so much effort in games, Sloonei, so i explained it in several games after. I was MLed often for it.

Okay, but you have spent more than enough time in this thread to have looked over the conversation I had with ted last night. It was not extremely long. It would only take a few minutes to look at, and hearing your input on it would be helpful, especially given your strong town read on Ted right now.

i would like to reiterate that nook’s iso was so boring that i quite literally fell asleep as i was reading it. i don’t remember what it said but i assume it was nothing exciting because i was out like a light

I thought ted's explanation sounded reasonable. He didn't want to get into it with Alison about opposing views on Marmot because she is notoriously stubborn.

Based on testimony from Hally and Sloonei I am comfortable treating nanook as a clear mafia suspect. However I still think ted, TSP and al sama have been scummier. Perhaps he can fight over whether LC or himself should be exed after those three are resolved.

I have never been great at reading nanook, but I think part of that is because we've legitimately been scum partners in about half the games we have played together, so I have seldom needed to put effort into reading him. But, at long last, this also means I've started to grow familiar with some of his patterns in games where he is mafia. I do not yet have a great feel for how well those patterns carry over into his town games.

There were a couple of instances on Day 1 where I saw him making posts that triggered memories of those past scum games with nanook. I held my tongue because I was unsure and did not want to launch into a tunnel against him on Day 1. But now that I have additional, external reasons to suspect him, I feel comfortable making this read known as well.

I don't want to fight with Nanook.

I don't feel like telling us why we should vote for nanook should be this hard. You said you looked at my ISO. If that's true, you'd see nanook is a scum-lean for me. If you give me a compelling reason why nanook is the most pressing chop right now, there's a chance I'll follow you on it.

Apologies if you've gone into it already, but why ted > TSP?

ted looks very aligned with marmot and also could possibly be on the other team

the consensus on tony is that if he’s a wolf he can’t be with marmot and would only be on the other team

so to me it makes more sense to lunch ted first

explain for each hypothesis how that is the case
