fwiw-- like 85% of my posts this game I've typed on a computer whereas on 2p2 it's been 99.9% phone posting-- so there are going to be some actual differences that could be perceived-- although still super subtle.

I can't put my finger on it, maybe that's it.

This post is sort of typical of EJJ play-- where she's calling Esooa's wolf-peek on her villagery-- but it all seems so level 0. Certainly compared to the people who just aren't contributing reads, EJJ is villagery-- but the people that she's focused on-- people like me/esooa/Hyena/Alison-- are all the people that are "safe and easy" to talk about and easy to have village reads on imo.

no overall ejj iso seems clean to me, they start talking a lot about reads, questioning people, a bit of over-clearing tho and I agree with their take on wagon formation.

"over-clearing" is the term I've been looking for

everybody has different styles, I tend to under-clear, feel like the majority of people like to clear a lot of people early.

it's a problem for me, I'm trying to learn how to clear people instead of tinfoiling into insanity.

I have an exam tomorrow, I’ve been cramming to it since a while. I’m trying to clear up 1-2 hours to play before EoD and I think it should be possible so I’ll ignore the thread for a bit longer and just try to finish my stuff.

Anyway, I’ve skimmed through the thread… My reads suck lol
I don’t really find the new people who posted scummy either, which means that my previous town-reads likely mean pretty much nothing.
I still THINK I shouldn’t be wrong on luckbox… they seem just really damn pure
and hyena is my N0 check. I don’t really feel like writing more about it tbh

@luckbox not all player metas are the same. There are players who normally post in a weird or anti-town way and I’m obviously not gonna read every single one of them based on common sense lol. I’ve played with hyena as both alignments before and know more or less what he considers townie/helpful behavior
From what I’ve seen this game, he seems to focus on stuff he normally would consider helpful, not stuff people would normally town-read him for, which I thought was townie. The fact that it would normally be considered weird or scummy literally doesn’t matter lol
If you think it’s bullshit, just ask hyena.

As for my other reads, I’m completely dropping them until further reevaluation. I thought I should maybe reread the posts again today but honestly, I’d most likely end up running around in circles, cherrypicking on stuff I never considered AI in the first place…

I was thinking everything they've done is over-clearing. I also really like the last post a lot and it's enough to convince me to not want to go there. I'm going to end up trusting Hyena on EJJ fwiw but happy to have pressurred her.
