Actually kinda how I was feeling just looking at the wagon structure over night and my general thoughts on the game though I usually like to wait a couple days before focusing in on that.

I think I'd agree if we weren't missing votes/engagements.

Wilgy wagon:

Oddly enough, I think I townlean Dennis for the 'mistake vote on me' after Cartomancy, I don't think W!Dennis makes that mistake and then admits to the mistake. Given the context of them being busy as well, it makes sense.

Pyxxy could be wolfin, but I think I'm doubting. It felt that they had very little hunting and alot of mechanic poop early. The more recent posts this cycle seems very similar to their NPC game though. the NPC game at least would be indicative of how they play without data.

Falcon wagon:
Sabi got a birthday pass, but needs to start solving this cycle. I think should've known better about a d1 Falcon yeet.

Splints is just a wolf IMO. Voted Falcon when that wasn't a good vote, invalidated mechanical discourse, gave an excuse to falcon flipping green before it was done.

Falcon was town, so I can’t argue that it was a good vote, but my reasons were genuine. I’ve wrongfully suspected him a lot in the past to the point where he is one of the first people I read so that I can look for town signs in him, and I thought that I had figured some out but I wasn’t seeing them this game. Regardless of whatever happens this game, that will be what I am most disappointed in because I thought I could finally read him but obviously still can’t

How did i “invalidate mechanical discourse”? You can check literally every single game I play and it is never something I discuss much but I don’t have a problem when others do. To reiterate as I said, the only time I could see it being a problem is if that’s only what someone wants to talk about as wolves can use mech discussion to look like they are participating more than they are. I haven’t seen that here so it’s a moot point

I don’t think I have an excuse to him flipping green. Only I thought that his flip would generate a lot of discussion, which it has. A lot of people mentioned falcon either way so it gives a discussion point. Better than say your vote for me which also would have had the same result, but would have less connections to make.

I like the Dennis comparison to last game. He is still quite new so while I think he is doing great for being so new, his game differences can be a little easier to notice than some more experienced

I don’t think Sean is being particularly townie, but that’s not really shocking, and I’m a bit hesitant to vote for someone who plays a bit more off after the falcon misvote

With SVS being nightkilled, I like in theory going back and following SVS's solve #316, but pyxxy opted to go through and offer their own take on SVS's reads #523, but the part I don't like is that SVS had three town reads (DrWilgy, myself, and Sabi), and pyxxy took hedged on them and turned them into wolfreads, or didn't say anything about them.

The only townread that pyxxy had in her readlist is Sean, one she also disagreed with SVS on.

- pyxxy: SVS doesn't know me / my game, reasonable take

- falcon: yeah I mean looks like a bunch of other townies can't read town!Falcon either, so, reasonable take

- lucy (you): accurate. you didn't say much D1

- neon: POE for lack of similarities to other Neon town games, I can't speak to that, but I personally townlean Neon here after watching the end of the NPC game

- Seanzie: pulled this exact same s*** in the NPC game but idt SVS knew this, I townlean Seanzie for it and also for digging but not knowing about locked votes, I think it's totally believeable based on my experience with him in the NPC game

- mac: reasonable take

- wilgy: reasonable take, one I somewhat agree with, but I just watched scum wilgs in the NPC game so I've got recency bias and this wilgy reads the same as scum wilgy to me

Sabi was using slank cover + birthday for D1 activity. After the NPC game where people raging at Neon for lowposting led to useless fighting and everyone being frustrated, I wanted to wait for Sabi to naturally return to the thread.

Or not return. Which I would read as scummy behavior, especially if there was no pressure on Sabi to return.

fingersplints is the other alive player left from the Falcon wagon. I wanted to see what they would say about that, if anything.

I gotta work I'll be back to expand on this in ~8 hours.

With SVS being nightkilled, I like in theory going back and following SVS's solve #316, but pyxxy opted to go through and offer their own take on SVS's reads #523, but the part I don't like is that SVS had three town reads (DrWilgy, myself, and Sabi), and pyxxy took hedged on them and turned them into wolfreads, or didn't say anything about them.

The only townread that pyxxy had in her readlist is Sean, one she also disagreed with SVS on.

it's all over the place and I don't think it's a factor in why SVS died, besides maybe it was part of being active as town, so....I'm not really invested in analyzing it

my opinion of each of SVS's reads:
- pyxxy: SVS doesn't know me / my game, reasonable take

- falcon: yeah I mean looks like a bunch of other townies can't read town!Falcon either, so, reasonable take

- lucy (you): accurate. you didn't say much D1

- neon: POE for lack of similarities to other Neon town games, I can't speak to that, but I personally townlean Neon here after watching the end of the NPC game

- Seanzie: pulled this exact same s*** in the NPC game but idt SVS knew this, I townlean Seanzie for it and also for digging but not knowing about locked votes, I think it's totally believeable based on my experience with him in the NPC game

- mac: reasonable take

- wilgy: reasonable take, one I somewhat agree with, but I just watched scum wilgs in the NPC game so I've got recency bias and this wilgy reads the same as scum wilgy to me

- marmot: reasonable take, agreed, although idk if I townlean marmot for it, I think it's an easily fakeable D1

- Kate: the joy of flips, an accurate read

- dennis: unsure. I opened today also wondering about dennis

- sabi:

odd that these two are at the end of the reads together, and also the remains of the Falcon wagon. world is full of strange coincidences

Yes.

Sabi was using slank cover + birthday for D1 activity. After the NPC game where people raging at Neon for lowposting led to useless fighting and everyone being frustrated, I wanted to wait for Sabi to naturally return to the thread.

Or not return. Which I would read as scummy behavior, especially if there was no pressure on Sabi to return.

fingersplints is the other alive player left from the Falcon wagon. I wanted to see what they would say about that, if anything.

I think there's always room for banter and jokes in a mafia game. It helps with good vibes in a game where suspicion gets thrown around, people are being too serious, and sometimes tempers flare. The levity provides a nice balance.

I think you can still find a way to be funny in your way and not be suspected for it (which I hope you do if you're town)

Their entry was aggressive, which made sense seeing as how it was directed at me who was sussing them but it still reminded me of their cartomancy entry, where they were taking suspicion before from subbing Kate's slot

Then when I tried to explain why I was sussing them (more a group), their defense was, fmpov, "No, you're wrong, that's not how thread is and also you're bad because of this"

It just didn't feel towny. But I hardly saw any of their town play in LGM so I'm trying to give them a little room to breathe and watch what other people make of them as well.

I'm still trying to find that balance. I don't know where too much is too much and blah blah so I'm tryna encorporate it INTO my seriousness and so far I have had... not the most luck with that

I will concede on this point, I don't think I've actually said my reads on too many people and I will do that after this. But I also don't think I did so in Felt too much either. Not really an excuse, but it is there.

I have been saying "where is everyone" because if you want to tell me this thread hasn't been the quietest of all the games I've played so far then idk what to tell you. I want to develop my reads but when no one talks then what am I left to do but complaint that there is no content? Say nothing? No because that's BORING I wanna be annoying
