It is Clerks! Night should have been over an hour ago, but I was a bit shell-shocked after a particularly brutal class.

Made, did you not understand why people thought Boogs might be the BTSC partner? Did you miss that discussion??Made wrote:I feel so lost. Why was boogs obviously felt samples???? I read boogs post from day 1 and he never defend keterman directly, but did attack Llama. Llama mentioned the next day that he thought that maybe boogs and keterman were teammates, but he gave no support and even later changing his mind! People (Bulls and Df) then cited Llama as the reason they thought boogs was felt samples. The way I see it, Bullz, DF, and Roxy are all suspcious for thinking boogs was obviously civvie, because he wasn't.
This reads as very hollow, Llama. It's the first post you've made that I haven't thought screamed civvie. I thought I'd let you know. ^_^thellama73 wrote:

Night 3: I Mustache You to Settle Down
"Life will find a way."
The crew found a new park to play in. No more bears and rabbits. They were after the big game. Jurassic Park.
Everyone marveled at the dinosaurs.
Everyone marveled at the employees. Especially this one:
Droooooooool.
Where was I?
Dinosaurs, right.
The crew looked at them. No one was eaten. Just the park's lawyer.
After seeing the lawyer devoured, the team decided to head to the snack bar. Everyone except thealpaca72.
"Hey, look at this dark, secluded area of the park. It's called "Murder Park!" llama said cheerfully.
He was never heard from again.
thellama73 has died.
It is now Day 4. You have 24 hours to restore liberty by finding llama's assailant.
Logan and I on his last visit to me.

Good to know you're still kicking. Honestly killing Llama was a very poor move on mafia imo. I mean on one side, many people vocally supported him so getting rid of him does seems beneficial. On the other side however, he was still getting a lot of votes..... actually i'm gonna go check something.....Mongoose wrote: The Felt Pens say: "Don't forget to floss your teeth!"[/color]

RIP Llama, apparently we just can't read each other. I am pretty surprised you were the target in the light of the heat you were getting. I guess it's safe to speculate that considering Vomps defense of you and then death I thought you might be the puppets with BTSC, which is why I didn't vote for you the last time. However, the thing that gave me pause was the SK recruitment of the puppets. Did anyone else read it this way?
I am going to reexamine DF's posts, but in light of llamas death I may need to rethink my suspicions.

Oooooo yes Chris Pratt is a sexay man. Sorry llama I guess I was wrong about you, but do cut me a little slack since it is my first game and I am new to this whole deal. Now this part of the game is where my newness will really go against me since I'm really not sure where else to go with my votes. I guess I will have to read through some posts and polls and try to get an idea of what's up.

Re: [FELT Mafia]: Day 4
It shouldn't make sense to anyone. Elo knows that. You wouldn't kill your own teammate even if they were so obviously bad and everyone was going to lynch them ASAP. Killing your own teammate robs you of the ability to kill someone who actually poses a threat to your team that night and reduces the likelihood you'll win. Sure they might win the game if you do but the more baddies are alive the more likely they are to win. Dead baddies don't help win the game even if they share glory at the end. The fact anyone would suggest it as a valid tactic shocks me.sabie12 wrote:Not sure that it would benefit anyone to kill their own teammate. That doesn't make sense to me.
Linki: But why would the baddies deliberately target their own teammate for a kill? How do they benefit from reducing their numbers by a quarter? I have strong reason to believe Llama was civ so I feel confident that it isn't what happened but even if I'd suspected Llama myself I would think such a tactic was insane and suicidal. It just isn't done.

The question becomes, would killing a mafia Llama secure the victory? I honestly don't think it would. To be safe, the best course of civvie action would be to acknowledge Llama's views, but not to peruse action based solely on it being what Llama would do. Even if he was civvie he's still fallible.

I don't know for sure that he was most likely to be lynched next. Because if it was strategic, it was poorly thought out at best. At worst, it produces a riskier scenario for their team.Elohcin wrote:Random? What makes you think that the baddie team randomized their kill and had no strategy behind their kill?Epignosis wrote:Neither is killing the person most likely to be lynched next.Bullzeye wrote:It just isn't done.
I see nothing in the roles about target redirection or switching. This leads me to believe that the killing was not strategic, but instead random.

Looking back at this, bea was also a peculiar choice. It could have been argued on Day 2 that she voted Keterman to save llama:
Mad Hatter's crew is playing that description to the hilt. Or should I say, to the brim.
Keterman
6
DFaraday (5), thellama73 (6), Vompatti (8), Bullzeye (9), Elohcin (10), bea (14) 43%
thellama73
5
Hedgeowl (2), Keterman (3), Boogs (4), sabie12 (7), Mister Rearranger (13) 36%
I don't understand this notion that thellama73 was bad and his team used a kill on him. Both kills make little sense from a strategic perspective: bea could have been framed as saving a teammate, and thellama73 was up for every lynch that has transpired. By killing llama, the llama voters now have to find someone else to vote for, and that someone else could very well be a member of their team.Elohcin wrote:Are you saying "poorly thought out" if he were a baddies or either way, baddie or civ? If so, why was it poorly thought out if llama was civ?

DF certainly doesn't hold up well under vote-scrutiny either, if you were interested. I factor his inconsistency in with my previous reasons to find him dubious. The only other thing I thought I'd take a big look at was Hedgeowl's change of heart from pursuing Llama for 2 days to her vote for DF yesterday.
Also, AP has missed 2 votes? I remember Llama suspecting him right out of the gate and I didn't give it much serious thought, but being so active early on and dropping off when it's crucial to show up isn't helpful, at the very least.
Also, I'm not entirely sure a redirect didn't happen. There are enough secrets in the roles. :/

EBWOP (not sure why it didn't linki me): I agree, I don't get the sacrifice theory at all. The redirect thing, like I said, seems reasonable, but not worth putting much weight on either, when discussion should be focused on finding baddie behavior.

A redirect is fine, they happen. I'm 90% sure that didn't happen in this specific circumstance though. Elo was suggesting that Llama was a baddie whose team deliberately killed their own teammate though. That makes no sense and has made me seriously wonder about her.Mister Rearranger wrote:EBWOP (not sure why it didn't linki me): I agree, I don't get the sacrifice theory at all. I agree it seems suspicious. My little bit of involvement in this game tells me that, that wouldn't be a thing that someone would do if they wanted to do well in the game.
Sometimes life does seem all planned out, like there's no choice in the matter. But that's just an illusion.

Re: [FELT Mafia]: Day 4
Right, this confused me as well. Why would they kill llama if he is civ and has been up for lynch every day? If I were bad, I would let it play out and let him eventually get lynched. Maybe the baddies are a mix of inexperienced/non-existent players? I have other theories as well, but want to keep them to myself for now. Anyway, I am not sure who i will vote for today.Epignosis wrote:Looking back at this, bea was also a peculiar choice. It could have been argued on Day 2 that she voted Keterman to save llama:

The only explanation I can think of is that whoever killed Llama was afraid he would make a case on one of their team, since Llama has been a very outspoken player. If that's the case, I'll go back and see whom Llama was suspecting the most.

That's just asking for a wifom. Would they kill someone who's right, or kill someone who's criticizing a civvie in hopes to get them lynched post mordem.DFaraday wrote:The only explanation I can think of is that whoever killed Llama was afraid he would make a case on one of their team, since Llama has been a very outspoken player. I'm ignoring any further progression of this train of thought.
