Someone, most lkely Bass, has a lynch-switch and lynch-stop. Perhaps Bass is a secret role, perhaps he's the recruiter we've been looking for. Since no switch and stop are listeded amongst the Cyber roles or Master, that's my best guess. If Bass isn't that secret role, then he is a recruited player being saved by that role. Presumably an important role to have the power used both times to save him. But, IMO more likely, Bass is that role.

I think Bass is the Cyber team role checker. I've been saying that. I haven't seen any reason to think otherwise.

I also think that the stop and the switch are end game preparations by the recruitment team.

But I'm a pessimist with a fatalistic view on most things.

MM, they were game related.

I suppose the poem could have given something, but I'm more inclined to believe they are recruiter powers.

"End game preparations"
By your own estimations, the recruitment team has 4 members.
There are 16 players alive.

Hi guys! I don't have much new info based on my new life as Dana. I can tell you some things in the past that won't make any difference regarding the current situation.

I do think that there's a lot of assumptions being made, a lot of worst-case-scenario beliefs in play. For instance, there could be limitations to recruitments. Maybe we could think, as a from-the-beginning perspective, about the idea of two recruiters... is that what people believe now? I think, if we worked out those numbers, it might inevitably lead toward a "The Civs are screwed" perspective. Maybe I'm wrong, I just kind of read a bunch of pages pretty fast.

Is it impossible for Bass to be the Master? Bass, why did you survive?

Linki: Yeah, I'm gonna have to go with Sabie as the Cyber rolechecker. :srsnod:

Yeah, the other secret role is the Dalek Body. The original Long Con was secretly the Dalek Head, who randomly spins around like The Exorcist whenever someone lies in the thread.

So, I assume that Epig is doing some math on kills and survivals and that's why the Civs are screwed? I haven't been doing the strongest analysis of the game, I've just been trying to get baddies n stuff. So, let's do some in-thread math on things.

How many players are left? How many of them are Civs? How many definite baddies, how many Secrets (two obviously), and figure out how many recruits there needs to be before the Civs cannot win?

16 players left.

Definitely 5 baddies killed, so possibly 4 left.

Two recruits dead, one returned.

Night 10: Civ dies, second Cyber dies
Day 11: Third Cyber dies
Night 11: Two Civvies die
Day 12: Last Cyber dies

11 players left. Still have to kill The Master, two secret roles, and a couple of recruits

Night 12: Civ dies, Master hit #1
Day 13: Master hit #2
Night 13: Two Civvies die
Night 14: Civ dies, Master dies

6 players left, no Cybers, no Master. That's obviously an oversimplified version of things where recruits aren't taken into account. And unless the baddies and Indies are all in cahoots, then some of those Civvie deaths could just be Recruit deaths, or Master hits from the Cybers.

Maybe someone else can take this sweeping "analysis" and solidify some plans, maybe the Cybers do need to kill someone other than good ol' Civvies in order to have a chance. I'd like to think that the various non-Civvie factions don't know for sure who each other are, and will be as likely to kill each other as the Civs.

Wait, I was still doing Cyber kills after Night 12. Of course, killing the whole Cyber Team as immediately as possible isn't so likely, so maybe that's not so bad. I just wanted to put some numbers out there to play with.

In addition, we don't know how many Cybers are left and if both of the remaining secret roles need to be dead. Just my thinking:
2 baddie teams, a recruiter, a serial killer... that's already a lot of threat to the civvies. Lucy was one Secret Role. The other two? One is the recruiter(s?) and the other could be just about anything. So, perhaps one of the secret roles is at least neutral?

My immediate thought after reading that post was that Bass was the Master and had won the switch as a prize. Why didn't anyone else think this? but its also possible he is Cyber/recruited and somebody is protecting him. This game is beginning to hurt my brain!
