No one expressed any REAL read on me though. I was mostly AFK and Ran kept shouting VCA VCA without actually defining why that made sense. I still have half the mind to think that Ran was just a wolfsiding npc and that's where most of the momentum came from.

Knowing and seeing some of how you’ve been scumread on the days since that wagon, I find the bolded hard to believe just because a top wagon doesn’t just form out of nothing with no basis. There has to be a read there, otherwise the wagon stagnates and disappears, and yours clearly didn’t

Why even did Ran become the CW that day? That still doesn’t make sense to me who they got pushed so hard there (and died because of it)

Because players who were reading even noticed that Ran's push was wolfy as hell. Also not like a majority of the voters had any stakes in the game, most were npcs.

The only one I still have slight questioning for is Nutella (who I also don't think explained the vote outside of wagonomics), but I still think that it's a t slot, or at least pro t.

Alright, so if you believe all of the impetus is on Ran (an NPC), and primarily the other NPCs who voted on you for your wagon becoming a thing (which is the sense I’m getting from your responses), should I be taking away from this that you don’t think your wagon was led by mafia?

I've been wolves with Wilgy a few times. I've watched wolf Wilgy skate to victory in spite of suspicion and watched town Wilgy get misyeeted. There are things he does as a wolf that he's not doing here.

Timezones are hard.

Falcon is not legitimately attempting to solve this game. He's acting. He's reacting. He's not digging. Falcon is a wolf. This one is a gimmie, folks.

I’m starting to wonder exactly that too, Schia is an obvious vote after that EoD spree, but the fact that a bunch of players (myself included) are just parking votes and without much further explanation or consideration doesn’t sit right with me

It actually kinda does make me think more strongly that Schia is mafia here, the reason being that Mafia, in their innate self-awareness of how they could across, usually tend to feel the need to preemptively explain or otherwise over-explain themselves when it comes to reads like this on a slot that would be a lhf townie. Parking your vote on an easy iachop could look back once they flip, so mafia explain their reasonings to justify their vote after the fact

Contrast that with a bus, where the team is sacrificing a buddy and obviously they know that player is mafia, so they don’t worry so much about explaining themselves because they know they’ll flip mafia and not be scrutinized as much for being correct as they would if they were wrong. Basically it’s the complete comfortability (and ensuing apathy) of being on a bus wagon vs. any sort of uncomfortablility over it being on an easy mischop

Town doesn’t care either way because they don’t have to and if they die it’s whatever, but mafia does, and very much so because they have to be alive in order to win.

So parsing out my thoughts, I do think Schia is more likely mafia and this feels very much like a bus wagon rn, but the question is who on the wagon is mafia that’s bussing Schia?

There’s pretty much no pushback whatsoever to the idea of a Schia wagon today, which is a huge red flag on a threadstate level because if everybody’s content with it, that means Mafia is content with it, and if Mafia is content with it, that means either Schia is town, or mafia is actively bussing rn. i’m basically rehashing Michelle’s thoughts in saying that, but former means that we need to be looking elsewhere, and the latter means that there is likely at least one mafia on Schia’s wagon right now

They don’t have to, apathy is death and it doesn’t matter if it’s 2 hours after SoD or 2 hours to EoD, if there is mafia on the line there is almost always thread agitation because the mafia squirm and put out feelers to try and steer the ship away from their buddy without exposing themselves and the wagon player in the process by being too blatant

There is no agitation, and the absence is unsettling because of its implications for the threadstate right now
