Spacedaisy confirmed that she received a message Day 2.

The other half of the role isn't confirmed, so there's a possibility he's the Enclave messenger, but I don't think that's the case.

Does procrastinated flavor-by-obligation still count as honorable host effort?

Spoiler: show
Image

Across the extensive Fallout lore, bridging the gaps between the Black Isle classics, the Obsidian tribute, and the Bethesda mediocrity, there exists only one true mainstay. Dogmeat appears in every Fallout game, and this tradition is one that I honestly find kind of dumb. Even in this, Fallout 2, my absolute favorite, it's comic self-reference that I think they could have done without. The real Dogmeat walked alongside the Vault Dweller of the very first Fallout, and all ensuing Dogs-meat can just be named in his honor. This one though, per the lore of the game, IS Dogmeat. At the Cafe of Broken Dreams where discarded Vault Dweller protagonists air their grievances with their idiot users, Dogmeat lies in wait for the Chosen One to appear in their grandsire's Vault 13 jumpsuit. Just as was the case in Fallout, keeping Dogmeat alive in Fallout 2 is just about as impossible as it proved to be in Fallout 2 Mafia.

Image

Tandi is another seminal character of the classic Fallout games. She is one of very few to appear in both of them. She lies at the center of one of the franchise's best-known setting elements, the New California Republic. Even the fans of the newer Fallout games will recognize this nation via Fallout: New Vegas, and that all begins with Tandi. The Vault Dweller meets her when she is just a young woman in a tiny village "Shady Sands" struggling for survival in the harsh wastes. The Chosen One meets her 80 years later, when that village has ascended to a dominant regional power thanks both to the Vault Dweller's inspiration and to Tandi's own leadership.

Image

The eternal isolationist stagnation of Vault City would prove to be their downfall, and it was not unexpected by those outside their walls. Despite their best efforts to cocoon the city safely from the influence of the mutated masses outside, they would eventually succumb to the tiniest of violations of that ideology. The citizens of Vault City, ever arrogant in their mock-utopia, had one miserable, fatal flaw: boredom. Without the ability to exercise their curiosity beyond the bounds of a single city, the introduction of a single interesting new "experience" proved irresistible. I couldn't say how the first canister of jet made it into the city, but it might as well have been a nuclear warhead. Once the local chemistry geeks got their hands on it and could synthesize more, the city fell into total addiction within weeks. Dr. Troy, head physician within Vault 8, devoted nearly all of his time recently to creating an antidote... but somehow in the effort he apparently broke a jet canister on the floor himself and inhaled the fumes. That was all it took to lose him too, and now he's dead from an overdose.

Image

The legend of Vault 13 was a rallying inspiration for the people of the NCR capital city. The mythical origin of the Vault Dweller who had saved them decades before was described by parents of young children with almost religious reverence. Everyone shared a common understanding about the vault though: that it did not exist. It was a tale woven for the sake of binding a people together with a notion of national history, but it wasn't a real place. But don't tell old Saltbeef that. The guy is still insisting to anyone who will listen that he's been there himself, that he saw the damned vault door with his own eyes with that massive "13" emblazoned upon it like some overly literal cartoon rendering. It's a matter of time before someone finds him too annoying to live.

There are no new game events depicted in this post. It's just flavor associated with all deaths not yet written.

I mean, take what you want from it; it's not meaningless when discussing Kyle's vote for Made.

Also, Epignosis pushed the Mac vote when Made was red-checked and outed by Nanook.

Epignosis was voting for me with no explanation, and was content to see other votes follow him, including some talk of him having info on me. Now that I have defended myself convincingly, Epignosis is tossing out a vote on Kyle based on the idea that he was resigned to be voting Made. I don't see that in the posts Epi referenced, and as I said, he ignores likely relevant information in favour of some rep-fueled and gimmick-protected weak gotcha.
