In the show, at some point someone adds fake rules to a Death Note. Death Notes come with "rules" on like the first page that dictate how to use one.

Ok, I know nothing of the show but aren't death notes different from the roles?
My thought process was, continuing the thought that MP would put as much of the show as possible into the game, the best way to incorporate the rules/fake rules of the Death Notes was to use it on role secrets.

Sorry everybody, I may be a little more sparse the next few days. I am currently transitioning from one job to another which means for a few days I am working two jobs. Then come Monday I am going to Houston to spend a month there in training.

Epi has been trying to convince us all game that other than Hugachi, Yotsubas are good, hinting that he's not the former, and telling us the best thing is to pass the DN to the Yotsubas who don't need the detectives dead in order to win. But at this moment, we don'g know who Hugachi is, and if he gets the DN, those who are at the highest risk of getting NK by him, are other Yotsubas. Epi wouldn't allow himself to be this in that predicament. You'd think he'd try and figure out who Hugachi is, so when he gets the DN, the Yotsubas know who to vote for during the night.
So the fact he says it's Light's turn means either: a. He isn't a Yotsuba, or b. is Hugachi and wants to get the note
