We're missing a glaring situation about your possible role?
Or your actual role?
That wording.
But okay.
Since you have declared that all of us are missing a glaring situation, I will painstakingly go through every situation imaginable, omitting instances in which "secrets" are involved since that could be anything and doesn't constitute a "glaring situation."
1. Calculon
The star of the show, Calculon is virtually untouchable on set. He will survive the first fatal action against him, whether via a lynch or a nightkill. *(Secrets)*
In my experience, "survive" means no death happens. If Calculon got Night killed, the mafia faction would not get to pick another target. It stands to reason that if Calculon got lynched (for the first time, not having been a Night kill target previously), there would be no lynch.
We didn't have a "no lynch." We had a cop lynch.
2. Sleazy Martinez
Calculon’s identical twin. If a tie occurs, the town will look to Calculon for a decision but Sleazy will interfere, allowing him to decide which player is lynched. *(Secrets)*
Given the close spread of the votes and the delay in the post, I am inclined to believe that Martinez had a hand in the result. This only happens if there's a tie.
You are not Sleazy Martinez, because you would not know how you survived having three votes (at least not enough to call it a "glaring situation").
3. Bender
TV’s coolest robot. Bender is allegedly a terrible influence on impressionable youth, but he’s just so darn cool. His influence spreads everywhere. Twice during the game, Bender can cast two votes in the poll. He may cast two votes for the same player, or he may cast votes on two separate players. He’s Bender, baby. In addition, Bender can steal the ability of player he votes for once during the game. He will be granted access to that player’s night abilities the following night.
Bender influencing the votes would mean that Bender's action is available during the Day phase, which is unusual but not unheard of.
I would be surprised if Bender used extra votes during the least informed juncture.
You are not Bender, because you didn't even vote to save yourself the ordinary way.
4. Network President
The Network President has final say over all things, and nobody can stop him. Twice during the game, the Network President can modify the mafia team kill to be unblockabkle. As long as the Execubots remain alive, the President begins each Day with -1 vote and his alignment cannot be checked (he will be ID’d as town). *(Secrets)*
Someone with three votes got lynched to someone who had two votes. That's what happened. This is the most glaring situation.

Ok here’s my take on the things.
There are quite a few scenarios here to consider.
I read someone’s post and from the voting that took place, he isn’t Calculon. If Calculon was the tie breaker, there would’ve been a no lynch, it wouldn’t be transferred to Long Con. Because of this, he could still be Calculon, technically speaking. Hope you understand my reasoning.
However, the et being network president is quite convincing, it would have to mean that the guy with an extra vote was on longcon and sleazy wouldn’t even need to interfere. If that’s the case, then I’d say Creature’s the guy with the extra vote. No way it’s Tony. Creature kept rambling about how Long Con was suspicious and kept coming back to him, it must be him.
In this scenario, Sleazy didn’t even need to interfere, as it was 3 votes for Long Con and only 2 for ET, provided he starts with -1 vote.
So yeah, leaning et being scum here.

I saw a lot of suspicion being thrown around for therealet but then they only had 3 votes. I read through and somehow must have missed the reasoning for the LC votes. Out of everything being discussed I am inclined to agree with the president theory. I'll look through the roles but that seems like the most likely. I agree with epi that typically if someone is being accused and are civ their defensiveness leads to an accusation somewhere else and self preserving because they want to prove it's not them.

Okay so by "glaring situation" are you implying that potentially what happened was bender put the extra vote on LC which then led to a tie between you and LC which sleazy then had to break? Which then doesn't really tell us anything about your role.
I mean it could be possible but I'm not sure why bender would use up one of his extra votes so early in the game.

theoretically, everyone who participated in tieing a vote to 2 could be scum setting up a lynch
we need to consider the possibility that mafia might have known about this if the godfather with the -1 vote did vote on ET and that another mate set up the choices.
with that mafia increases the chances to mislynch a town, this would be a good IQ play, but I don't know if mafia would be aware of them becomming vulnurable with that strategy. I think this can be figured out by the next DP hopefully, tho we have a wide arrange of players who could be scum based on votes, considering that scum could have abstained in voting, or atleast one.

Have I incorrectly read the setup? I don’t think that’s how president works. It isn’t that his vote doesn’t count, it’s that he starts with a -1 vote. So, if you were a President and at EoD I was the only one that voted you, the end result is that you would have no votes on you.

Oh, this could be the case too, I think I was confused.
I rarely made experiences with negative voters. I think I saw it once in a game where someone had a -2 vote.

Theorycrafting time-
Day 1:
Creature (2) - Enrique, Nanook
Long Con (2) - TonyStarkPrime, Creature
Tedexter (1) - Novaseline
therealet (3) - Epi, Dom, Sabie
TonyStarkPrime (2) - Tedexter, Rej
No Lynch (1) - Sprityo
No vote: Long Con, Mac, Sig, therealet
So what's our possible roles here? it's been brought up but the most glaring issue is therealet shouldve been lynched but wasnt. I think it's also a common understanding that Sleazy Martinez was the one who had to pick who would be lynched. Discounting Secrets and Indy involvement I think these three scenarios sum up our situation at hand.
-One of TSP and Creature is Bender. therealet's role does not matter.
-therealet is Network President. Bender could still be in play and is the reason why LC was lynched.
-therealet is Network President and Bender didn't use his double vote, making sleazy martinez choose between Creature, LC, therealet, or TSP.
Personally I feel the first one is the most likely option followed by the second and then third.
Note: for the third option it'd make sense for Creature or TSP to be Sleazy Martinez and the other to be Bender.

less so to save, more of if a selfish person wanted to lynched someone they thought more bad than realet. not to mention bender gains the power of whoever he votes for when theyre lynched

If et is scum which I think he is, then TSP is probably the second one. So I don’t agree with that read. But in rest, I could settle for the other reads.
This is heavily dependent on et’s flip, but if he’s mafia...What would a mafia do in this situation, KNOWING that et is the president. Well, they’d set up wagons, just like in a normal setup. But they don’t really have to be too aggressive.
Look at those wagons, it’s perfect for et’s president scenario. 3 people on a tie with him. Et is already buried in evidence against him. Actively fighting against his lynch is useless. But mafia can place their votes on people like...Long, for example.
At this point, I’d clear nova as being town / sk. Probably sprit as well. Epi is locked town for me, we agree on a lot of stuff and he’s just bleeding town. Sabie, although probably a bad take, I feel like is thread spewed at this point. Especially if et is mafia. Dom town. Creature town. Rej town. Mac town.
TSP scum, Nanook / enrique scum , Et scum

At this point, I’d clear nova as being town / sk. Probably sprit as well. Epi is locked town for me, we agree on a lot of stuff and he’s just bleeding town. Sabie, although probably a bad take, I feel like is thread spewed at this point. Especially if et is mafia. Dom town. Creature town. Rej town. Mac town.
TSP scum, Nanook / enrique scum , Et scum
This doesn’t work for a large number of reasons

That’s an awfully manipulative post, you’re implying LC was obvious town when you voted for him AND implying ET was painfully scum even though you saved him by voting the dude who you apparently town read after his flip.
That’s a really bad look friend.

: if a town role who chooses from ties was assigned a choice between ET LC Me and whoever else had two votes
Why would they not choose ET
Why didn’t you vote ET if he’s so obviously scum?
You choose ET in this case because if given a four way tie the only thing that could have lead to that specific outcome is ET being network president in which case you always choose him

my thoughts exactly, thats why i think bender is more so the culprit here. that would also give a more bad lean to realet
Did we determine Calculon isn’t at play here cause that seems like a reasonable possibility
i looked at this disregarding all secrets and hypnotoad
my thoughts are calculon and sleazy martinez's secrets are related tbh and dont effect voting

unless of course, someone didnt read the role list........
Would not even be surprised.

Meh this is true, but townies can mess up as well.

Here are real options
1) calculon
2) bender + net pres
3) bender + tie guy (2 way chooses LC)
One of these is much more simple
linki:
4) someone messed up
5) secrets

calculon only says he avoids the first attempt on his life, not move it to someone else
so i dont agree on that

I tend to think that in situations like this lynch redo is almost always the correct play but here it seems, unless someone thinks very strongly otherwise, that that would be unwise.
Is that because I’m scum partners with ET?
Shrug

If tie guy is given a tie between LC and ET then at least ET is not Net Pres which has to be an important Bayesian point but I’m not a statistician
If tie guy wasn’t given a tie then either secrets or et net pres

So tie guy either knows who to vote for or doesn’t know who to vote for
