I maintain that zero or near-zero posters should be treated as null because 99% of the time zero posters don't post because of NAI things like real life obligations or lack of interest in the game (I guess this is scummy if you're in a "I hate rolling scum" meta but that's borderline angleshooty and I don't care to take it into consideration unless it's very strongly meta indicative of a specific player).

I am not moved personally. Hally is my strongest civilian read in the game, and a pre-flip association with Funnygurl doesn't change that. I don't think the association is particularly compelling either.

What I'm doing is not a pre-flip association. A pre-flip association is weak because it is susceptible to exactly what Wisp said. If Hally is scum only they have an association with FG and I think FG is scum, then my reads are a house of cards - if FG flips town then the Hally read is totally invalidated.

But that is not what I am doing. I am pointing to a behavior that they are both engaging in - awkward interaction - and saying that it is behavior that reflects badly on both of them and makes them both more likely to be scum.

Also Hally admitted themselves that the interaction was awkward - they said "it's a good case if not for the fact that I'm town", which they wouldn't say if they didn't agree that the interaction was in fact awkward and did to some degree make them both look like scum buddies.
