It’s either Esooa!Scum or No Traitor.
I’m not sure which it is.

Re: 1984 Mafia [Day 3]
Thought I just had. If there is no baddie in this game, the person who is picking the night kill either...
1. is trying to frame a player with nk choice
2. is killing based on who is most optimal to kill.
if it's the first one who is framed by killing
if it's the second one, does picking to kill Seanzie and Creature here make sense?

Creature was into Esooa Day 1 I think? Maybe not exactly but what was Sean doing?

I think if Esooa is scum here, she wouldn't be as unnecessarily confrontational about things that don't get her chopped. (see pushing mac)

Re: 1984 Mafia [Day 3]
I am confirmed town because I have been doing a gimmicky thing of repeating the exact message "I am town" and I always do those things a town before I do them as mafia so I can set up meta to justify myself when I do them as mafia

Re: 1984 Mafia [Day 3]
That is pretty convincing, and I hope to recall it in future games against you, Esooa.
Hey, Esooa, why are you named 'Esooa'?

Re: 1984 Mafia [Day 3]
How do I ISO Esooa so I can see exactly how many times they used the “I am Town” as a response to everything thrown at them.
Re: 1984 Mafia [Day 3]
Well I mean guess you are aware of this lol.

Re: 1984 Mafia [Day 3]
I used to have an old internet name which was pretty cringe, it being like 2010. I wanted a new one and can't really come up with names. So I made the old on into an acronym (it was actually 5 words long). It didn't make any sense so I just made it an acronym with the second letter of each word. And it made Esooa which I thought looked/sounded good

OK, let's get going here.
Anyone got any good reason why I shouldn't be paranoid there's a Traitor?

but mathematically we have to vote sleep
because at the start of the game it was 50/50
and right now any option aside from sleep is much worse odds than sleep
we can't do anything but sleep

Re: 1984 Mafia [Day 3]
in fact this outcome was inevitable upon not finding the traitor on the prior two days
the game ultimately is two days of very low odds rng and then a day of pure coinflip
there is no indicator strong enough to argue

we could have won in traitor rand if we randed an obvious level 0 player or just all tried super super hard but neither of those things occurred so we flip the coin now

We could try as super-hard as we want, all it would take from the Traitor is to try a little bit.MacDougall wrote: ↑Tue Jun 01, 2021 8:53 am we could have won in traitor rand if we randed an obvious level 0 player or just all tried super super hard but neither of those things occurred so we flip the coin now

In fact given I am probably down to less than half the remaining players even feeling plausible as the traitor based on their own townslipping I maybe should actually feel confident that there isn't one let alone comfortable flipping the coin.

Re: 1984 Mafia [Day 3]
If this were a poker hand I think sleep wins 75% or more here. Esooa is probably the only person I'd be annoyed at losing to. Anyone else would get mild applause. Esooa at least I would be unsurprised in an annoyed way. Still impressed all the same lol.

If we vote Esooa and we are in traitorless we threw a 50% chance of winning on your tunnel read. Do you think you can persuade that outcome. Really? I fucking admire the hustle.

Look the man has a point. Fortunately this is a democracy and we can vote to decide.
Re: 1984 Mafia [Day 3]
Creature would have done that.MacDougall wrote: ↑Tue Jun 01, 2021 9:38 am If we vote Esooa and we are in traitorless we threw a 50% chance of winning on your tunnel read. Do you think you can persuade that outcome. Really? I fucking admire the hustle.
Creature would have took the risk.
Shouldn’t we carry out his legacy?
