this whole "some people acting like there's a big wagon on made despite the fact that there are two votes on made" thing doesn't sit right with me and I don't know how

made said they thought they were scumread by thread consensus. this does not appear to correspond to reality

nah, the votes just aren't there rn. they pop in and out of existence fairly often. I was just trying to get ahead of the foolishness before someone pushed me harder.

one side of this isn't holding up. And I think Made is right and it's the thread side that's not

Not sure I agree with you. The number of people who have voted for Made at some point and then wandered off onto what I could uncharitably call "fad wagons" without any real clear "okay not Made" statement is pretty large. I'm not gonna push on them, but I would not be surprised if at EoD a lot of those people just remember they never had a real good reason when they got off the Made wagon and get back on. I can't bet because I'm in the thread and can theoretically make things happen, but if I were in spec chat I'd be handicapping Made as most likely chop of the day.

My theory...when Mac laid the case on Cat it was really on Cat+Made. Cat flipping red for the most part just nailed Made, and if town had a night one vig we probably wouldn't have this problem. But day two just launched with chopping Made as the very likely outcome.

I myself would have been more or less fine with piling on Made and just bailing for 48 hours, but we know that's not realistic, towns gonna town. So cases come, and cases go, and the wagons mount up okay, but there's no real enthusiasm behind them because even people who don't want to say it are kinda just waiting to chop Made at EoD.

I'm mostly watching the wagons come and go looking for people who are consistently hard pushing any fad of the moment no matter how silly it should be for them, because if Made does flip red those are the people to look at next.

town vig just knows their action failed, could be any number of reasons. in a game this size, the role is too powerful to be lost.

I think he'd have been a good one, yeah. At EoD Mac's associative case and Cat's red flip were fresh tracks, and that's when a lot of potential vigs are gonna make their choice. I also don't think the simple "shoot the counterwagon" applies on a wolf flip.

But I am really at "so what?" Speculating about what a hypothetical vig might have done and hypothesizing how it apparently didn't work is just building post count.
