This is becoming too repetitive to sound genuine. You keep mentioning how your gut was wrong (you do it multiple times in this post) and I remember you doing it in previous posts. I feel you're kind of excusing yourself when it isn't even necessary. To me, it comes across like you have a guilty conscience and know it is a matter time before someone calls you out so you want to defend yourself before people actually do. You also seem to be relying on emotions an awful lot, if it be not wanting to vote someone or reacting to someones death.

I'm willing to go with Exodus on this one, I have to vote now so I'm going with Pheonix.

I think Polaris looks bad, and have no particular feelings on/suspicion of Phoenix. I didnt feel like Phoenix was genuine when she posted "Oh my bleeding heart etc." And then showed up so sudden this vote and last. Not like I am going to survive, but i will vote her anyway and hope if the Magneto theory is true, it would backfire on them.

All this Magneto talk - we have to assume the baddies picked QS night 1 but that would have been before Scarlet started all the stuff about Quicksilver.So he had little to no suspicion onhim at the time.

Let's assume Magneto did split off qs' vote. There are now potentially two civs with 5 votes each, 6 each if Cyclops voted in there. That's enough to take out Wolverine and means this lynch is likely a disaster.

I haven't paid attention to Polaris enough, why are people suspicious of her again? I think my vote is going to Phoenix because her posts have pinged me probably the most, constantly. But I'm not quite sure yet. I need to read everything I've missed.

That vote for me aside, it appears it could have been any of the QS voters, the argument here seems pretty far-fetched.

Yeah. There's no 'I think Quicksilver voters are probably bad and here's why Hawkeye is most likely...'. It's pretty much a throwaway vote really, he admits there's reason to wonder about QS and then says baddies are using 'the situation' to their advantage but doesn't elaborate and then throws out what is essentially a random vote with no specific reason. I remember finding it a bit odd at the time that several people seemed to be slinging mud at Quicksilver voters without going into any great detail, as if they were trying to put people off voting for him or something.

I agree with this, I had not noticed it. The vote for Hawkeye is weird to me because it happened without reason.

No, they would have picked him on night 2. On odd nights Magneto's power works differently. I think I will change my vote just in case, though I'm not 100% sure who to change it to yet.

Suggestion for those of us who can still change our votes: QS should still have the majority of votes, but the next person ought to have QS's votes/2 + 1. Is that achievable at this point?

I am suspicious of Phoenix and Sunfire the most. I also thought Havoks vote was weird because he ignored my idea that all the votes in the same place was too convenient.

Changing votes is a win win. If qs is bad, he won't be lynched unless the baddie team dropped the ball bigtime. If he's civ, we save him.

i think one of the powers magneto had listed in the signup thread was that votes would be split between the players above and below his target on the poll. i thought it was that too, until i reread the roles just now. i guess it was changed to be a 3 target thing, so there's no way of knowing which players the votes could have been spread to.

still, it seems like a very dangerous power that we should very much prepare for :x

if we just make sure that someone else has at least half as many votes as the lead vote getter, we can prevent one of magneto's targets from getting lynched in any circumstance. which is ideal since magneto is unlikely to siphon votes onto his teammates.

Seems like his ability changes depending on the night. It never says his target has to stay the same both nights, that wouldn't make sense based on the secondary targets.

Changed my vote to Sunfire. His day 2 vote was really strange, acknowledging that people had reasons to be suspicious of QS but then voting for Hawkeye because he'd voted QS. Felt like he was trying to make a half-hearted defense that wouldn't lead to him looking like he'd tried to save QS by voting TBird. I dunno, it's not a strong ping but I'd rather be safe than sorry if Magneto is messing about with votes. I had a question about that actually: @Epig: What are the rules re: double targeting for Magneto? If he makes someone his primary target one night, can they be a secondary target the following night?

Then the same targets votes are halved the next day between 2 other people..

It says NOTHING about 2 different targets on odd/even nights.

I am staying with my vote and suspicion.

Because now you have to guess who the other two targets were that were picked.

Well what about when either the primary target dies from all the votes he got, or one of the secondary targets dies from their votes? That would be Magneto's aim, to control lynches and kill whoever he likes while protecting his team. I see where you're coming from but in my opinion it doesn't make sense for the power to work like that.
