for michelle - i thought how she responded to my early push on her and seemed completely unbothered by it was more like to come from town!mich
for ted - he seems less concerned with crafting a towny image than the game i just saw him wolf in, which is a townish thing
im extremely curious to hear what prompted the bolded thought

mine works by scrolling all the way up, and once at the top, scroll down again, and this little white circle with a rotating arrow comes down out of nowhere

Samsung browser has an up arrow but to go down is way too time consuming.
towniest of town. channeling my inner mac. am i doing it right?
im a fan of this criticism, regardless of ash's alignment (unless w/w i guess, but i don't think so from the 6 and a half posts i have read so far)tedxtr wrote: ↑Wed Oct 07, 2020 8:19 amnot really a fan of this postAsh Lael wrote: ↑Wed Oct 07, 2020 6:24 amI agree, but I also think it’s just simpler than that. It’s very very important to tutuu that the suspicion you’ve placed on her goes away. I think a townie looks at what you’ve written and says “well he’s wrong, but he’s reasonable, he’ll re-evaluate.” Tutuu comes at you all guns blazing.Vulgard wrote: ↑Wed Oct 07, 2020 6:20 am I initially believed that tutuu's claim just now was towny, but then I realized it doesn't make sense for her to believe what she said. "Building imperfect cases on purpose and pointing it out for the sake of pocketing." That sounds like an incredibly forced reason to suggest that my push is not town-motivated.
Too many words for a wrong conclusion about meAsh Lael wrote: ↑Wed Oct 07, 2020 1:50 pm Here’s where I am now:
Town:
112 - coming in with strong, believable cases on two widely townread players, able to answer follow up questions with sharp reasoning that shows real thought and solving intent? Yeah, this is a townie and I don’t even feel nervous saying so.
Poison - Slightly weird read here, but I’m getting a sense that they’re not super confident in their game. Things like saying “Don’t ask me how good my reads are I’d be too embarrassed to answer” or being impressed and thinking I’m more experienced than them based on me... making a an early readlist. For someone like that to be posting so freely and effortlessly and engaging with other people’s reads and (nicely) poking holes in them doesn’t fit with what I’d expect from their scum game.
Vulgard - I’m musing over 112’s case here, wondering if there’s something to it. I don’t think so. Vulgard accuses me of being too meticulous and crafting my posts too well. I don’t think wolf him wants to accuse me of exactly what he’s doing. I think he’s just what he seems - a careful, structured, townie.
Hally - I’m probably not going to ever stop tinfoiling her in the back of my mind but at a certain point you have to take yes for an answer. Sometimes the super-towny player is just town. Maybe she’s a wolf but if she is I ain’t catching her day zero. I can always be wrong, but I’m at the point of acknowledging that if Hally is a wolf I am wrong because I think she’s town.
Ted - I don’t think he’s paired with tutuu, and the way he’s been doggedly pushing his mini-tunnel on me feels like townie-wrong not wolfy-malicious. Not ultra confident here but he gets a townread.
Null:
The non posters, Arete.
Wolves:
Michelle - I perceive Michelle as a pretty easy “level of ferocity” read. Haven’t seen it yet. So far this is champs finale Michelle to me. If town Michelle shows up and starts making her presence known I feel like I’ll find her.
Tutuu - was already ringing five different alarm bells in my head when they decided to go and blatantly flip their read on me for... I don’t think they ever actually stated a reason. This is just a wolf. “But the things they say don’t make sense” is not a good reason to townread them.
Nanook - just vague feelings of unease and distrust, I don’t think he’s posted since my last readlist so I won’t bother reiterating.
That’s 14 people and I spent way too long trying to figure out who I missed before I realised it was me. It’s 4:45 am and I need to sleep.
re: tutuu - i dont think the bolded is an accurate characterization of my/vul’s reason for tr’ing her but we can talk about that more laterAsh Lael wrote: ↑Wed Oct 07, 2020 1:50 pm Here’s where I am now:

it’s not really a wrong conclusion. he conclusion is that he will find you once you get in the game if you’re town, and i think it’s fair to say you haven’t really gotten into the game yetMichelle wrote: ↑Wed Oct 07, 2020 1:55 pmToo many words for a wrong conclusion about meAsh Lael wrote: ↑Wed Oct 07, 2020 1:50 pm Here’s where I am now:
