Thoughts on Rondo & Alison?

Lmao I think it is fun!

I feel like thread state-wise, Rando is rand>town. Aside from being funny, I feel like they have made some tonally townie posts. Example: the one where they talk about AtE, not wanting to omgus Alison, then votes Alison. I am not sure at all how Rando approaches the game, but I don't think a scum player there would break the "lmao this is so funny that you're tunnelling me" spiel so quickly. I think these are things scum are more interested in keeping consistent.

I did get sad when they refused to help me with reading Ender tho

Alison is someone I have discussed with in MU discord regarding mafia theory, and I have seen her play (but haven't played with). So I know from start that I find her stiff and archaic when it comes to the game. It is easy for me to town read that sort of play when it is probably NAI. I am town reading her for her debacle with Rando. Specifically a post I quoted before saying "mmmm fair observation". My gut says that's townie tbh

Trying to not default to "lmao it is town vs town" though.

What are your thoughts on those two players?

JJJ's approach sorta mirrors his approach in the game I played with him on MU though tbh

Jay is absolutely able to replicate his town-leader-yness as wolf. While his content or detail mileage might vary, I find it hard to believe that Jay can be read on "Is he approaching game as a 'make town collaborate' thing?" given that's almost his trademark from all that people have told me in the past.

First post is a question (and a bad one at that) which I think is very slightly >rand!wolf in general due to it being easier to enter that way.

Some of her takes, for example on Lucy with the "how old are you" read and her Creature read I think are probably good reads and involve nuance that is hard, but not impossible to fake.

Her take on me was that "Seanzie if anything is being slightly less proddy and pokey than he usually is.", which kinda pinged me for what are probably bad reasons (she gave a very similar assessment the first time I wolfed against her, almost word-for-word (I think maybe she said prickly then but... close). However she doesn't seem to have a lot of conviction that this is extremely AI for me when actually me not being pokey and proddy is probably one of my biggest scumtells as it is something I have a hard time faking (granted I am trying to be a bit less abrasive in my town games as well, so hopefully this won't be super AI for me forever), so I kinda feel like she didn't believe in her read on me. I caught her pretty hard last game we played together, and the nail-in-the-coffin was that I asked her for a read on me and she said she didn't have one, so if she was wolfing again, I think she'd definitely make a point to have one, and this is pretty consistent with that. Granted, there are like 10 times in which this thought process takes pretty big liberties, so I am wary of this read.

Her interactions with Jay seem a bit weird; I don't think anyone who knows Jay will be surprised to see Jay having a longer greenlist than anyone else, but Alison seems to take issue with that and describes the gamestate hard to extract easy reads from, even though she herself I think has probably called more than 3 people town.

After that, aside from a few interactions with people like me and Ender, she seems to really focus in on Rondo and wants to talk a ton to him and also have everyone else talking about him. She stopped posting right after I called her out on it, and I kinda want to read into that, but also think Alison isn't really the type to respond to pressure by freezing, so idk if it is actually AI.

I feel slightly worse about her coming out of that ISO than I did coming in, but she did make a few very good reads and I am wary that some of my reads might not be the greatest.

Seanzie aligned with me on a read I expect him to make. Otherwise he just feels open to interacting with me in a non apprehensive way which I wouldn't expect would be there if he was mafia.

I saw that she is a prominent discord player yes. I am not completely ruling her out. I just ... don't feel it pertinent to include her in my narrowed worldview right now.

The entire point of making that list was more to contrast them to how I felt about Wilgy and Falcon than anything else.

Like there are three groups. Those above, who I just feel like townreading for various easy read reasons. Those who I have no inclination one way or the other right now (Ender, Fingersplints, Marmot) and then Falcon, who I just ... gut scum read immediately, and Wilgy, whose contributions to the game thus far have been practically a facsimile of wolf Wilgy.

Hmm... your reads seem to be extremely in-line with many of mine and I'm not 100% sure how to process that information.
