I don't have reason to believe that's what happen, but it would explain what happen N1 as the hypothesis that hyrule can kill without buying a item was proven false. In most games i've played, if a kill was attempted but blocked, it shows up that way in the night post. The fact that it wasn't mentioned either means no one tired to kill or that kill attempts aren't reported.

That sounds reasonable.

I have a couple theories about Link now. Either he gets to kill on even nights, or he may attempt to kill every night, but he may not always succeed. This would be where the old man's capabilities come in, to strengthen Link's sword, and increase his odds for a successful kill. Someone may have survived Night 1, and we wouldn't know.
This is a good idea. Seems reasonable to me.

No, but Baddies do, and by voting to kill someone who wasn't a main suspect n2 and d2, we reduce the chance that they get someone they predicted. They need the triforce to win, so lynching someone who's been off the radar is in our best interest.

RIP MP.

you, and Sabie recieved 2 votes, Llama received 3. It's more than most others.
But you're missing something here, Made. Civs wouldn't be any more likely than the goodies to guess someone who's not a top suspect; in fact, they may be LESS likely to do so, since they don't have advantage of spreading out choices like the goodies.

And also, SOMEONE is going to win the Triforce no matter what. If not by predicting who dies, then by winning the "describe a Night power" contest. So we actually don't have any way at all of even being reasonably sure a goodie doesn't get it. I think it's a bad idea to throw off our whole lynch strategy since that's the case.

Linki: Right. I just didn't see how an indy kill came into it. I don't think that happened, as Epi has never failed to report kill attempts in games of his I've played.

In your private message containing the above, you may choose (or choose not) to grasp at the Triforce of Power and win it for yourself.

To attempt this feat, you must state who is going to be lynched on Day 3.

And then make it happen. :feb:
I think the operating phrase is "to attempt this feat". A player could submit a role they had, but then they had to claim to know who was going to get lynched in order to actually get the piece of power.

Fair enough. I hadn't read back yet on you yet when I posted that, and having read back now, there's less there than I originally thought. So maybe you're not a dirty rotten do-gooder anyhow.

And maybe Boogs not getting the civ roles means he is a baddie, idk.

Maybe I'm just being ornery, but I feel like a lot of Boogs' votes today, like Hedge's yesterday, are just coming in BECAUSE there's a case, not necessarily because it's a good one. We're ending up lynching people just because we're talking about them, and that happens in most games, but it's bothering me more than usual at this point.

Oh, and to address S~V~S: If I were bad, making unsubstantiated, uncharacteristic cases would be the absolute fastest way I could get myself lynched, and I know that. None of the goodies want to be lynched that I can see. So I get your vote, but I'd surprised if you actually think I'm bad.

Very good question, sir! I'm not honestly quite sure yet, I'll have to think about it myself. However, I did wonder if there was a push to lynch you over Sabie due to saving a teammate OR whether a push to lynch both of you could have been bandwagoned by some baddies.

I also wonder if splints is onto something with Hedge's posts being all jokey too, that was a good point.
So this is saying MP jumped on splints' suspicion and not the other way around, right?

If so I think a harder look needs to be taken at MP. However, I still think the suspicion itself was a little out there, and I have been getting bad vibes from fingers, so I stand by that suspicion too.

Voted MM. Because why not. I think he has an ok chance of being bad. llama hasn't really pinged me, so no use voting him, and this lynch isn't going on anyone other than llama or Boogs. Anyone who says otherwise is kidding themselves.

Hey so when the Day ends, if there are contests and riddles and such, can we all hold off on participating for like 20 minutes and do some strategerizing first?

Linki: Thanks for finding that, S~V~S. The quote fails this game have been rough for me!

I do think the votes for you are really weird. Dom keeps saying you need to be stopped without explanation.

I'm willing to hop on this train assuming we don't lynch Boogs and Llama is on board. Drive by votes is not sitting right with me, and A piece of power is at risk.

Note: This is now the third day in a row that Elo and Snow Dog have voted the same player. The first two were lynched and flipped civ. Boogs may be next.

Linki: This game is confusing the hell out of me. The mechanics all make sense as far as my knowledge goes, but people are playing weird.

Do you think Russ' vote is really weird as well? Do you think he is a Hooligan?

Whom did you two have in mind? I wouldn't object to a Dom lynch. His play is not at all like himself this game.

linki: SVS. I think Russ has generally sounded cool and collected this game. I wouldn't describe him as a hooligan, but his vote is weird and makes no sense, in contrast to the rest of his game so far.

So you thought his suspicion of Splints was cool & collected? He said otherwise himself. What was weird about it?

Why these specific people?

This WHOOOLE thing is setting off all of my alarms in the most alarming way (heh) possible.

Made you are saying you want to pile votes on someone to save Boogs? Am I reading this right?

What do you think SVS? After agreeing with me a couple times, this is his ultimatum.

Dom's votes were indeed silly, but those came on Days 1 and 2.

zeek's was actually somewhat calculated, and made me fell a bit better about him.

So are you on board too, so long as Boogs isn't the one lynched, as Made said?

And one vote, when two others have 3-4? I don't see the issue here.
