I was reminded of a game today where S~V~S convinced us as an outted baddie that she was invulnerable, no way to kill her. She was lying as it turned out but she had us totally convinced. Maybe just maybe that is true here though I'm pretty sure DH is going to pooh pooh this thought. As Mac says though, there must be SOME reason DDL is dragging out what seems to be a foregone conclusion. I just don't think he would do that to us if that were the case. Or, maybe he just wants us to think this way so we'll keep playing even though there is no shot at all. Hard to tell.

Like, I'm not purposedly keeping anyone in this game for longer than necessary. And I'm not teasing anyone. The game has clearly defined winning conditions. It will run, like a computer program, until those conditions are met. It ends when one faction has 100% chance of winning the game.

You people need to trust me and stop trying to guess when the game is supposed to end. Yesterday I was put in a really complicated spot, because I had to deal with multiple demands to end the game, some of them related to a holiday I don't even remember exists since I don't have it where I live, and I couldn't negotiate directly because I'm not supposed to reveal secret info about the setup. I had to rush to end the day yesterday night because it was the only way I found to meet those demands without revealing things.

Next time I host a game near a popular holiday I may pause the game so everyone can enjoy the holiday.

Just make sure to warn me about the holiday more than one day in advance, because not everyone here uses the USA calendar. Thanksgiving doesn't mean anything to me.

It's a GREAT game DDL - just remember, we're not in the know so considering every angle. Like I said, I just remembered SVS's magnificent performance as an outted baddie and thought the same thing might be happening here. Don't be frustrated, we're all trying as hard as we can.

Oh sorry, I didn't mean it to sound harsh. For all I knew (or know) DH's win con says he HAS to kill us all in which case it would make perfect sense to keep the game running. And there are other things that would make sense too.

Nutella and juliets were the first ones to arrive. They believed that together, they would be able to overpower him. It had worked with the other bad guys so far.

- DharmaHelper! I can't believe you were working against us! - Nutella screamed. - Surrender now or we'll take you down!

The two ladies pointed their wands at him, ready to turn him into a ferret. But as they tried to speak the magic words... they didn't come out. As much as they tried, the will to attack their enemy simply escaped them.

Grindewald had prepared against their attack, by putting love potion on their food. Sure it was a hard potion to make, but the Master of Death doesn't have such silly limitations. The concentration of Amortentia wasn't high enough to make them fall into unconditional love to him, but it was enough to make them loyal.

- Now... kneel before your master - he said.

The two of them had no choice but drop their wands, and kneel. He had completely overpowered them.

But before he could kill them, he had to turn around, because someone had just fired a spell on him, forcing him to react and block it.

- YOU! I knew it was you! You were the one taking all those Death Eaters while we were not looking, and you also took down many of our own!

MacDougall was free, and angry. He was going to take DH down, or die trying. He pointed his wand at DH and screamed:

- EXPELLIARMUS!
- AVADA KEDARVA!
