So, to be extra clear, I won't be voting SVS today. I won't even be making any cases on SVS. I've come to the point on my own thought processes where I genuinely think I may have been wrong about her. I think I've done enough to explain why in previous posts, so I'm moving on.
I also think my annoyance at the lynch yesterday, was in part because I was able to recognise that I had let myself be too focussed on SVS. (It was also partly because the meme generators were hard work and pissing me off).
I recognise today may well be about lynching Glorfindel. If it is, I understand. I agree with Typhoony that lynching an inmate isn't a bad outcome, but I prefer to lynch someone who is really bad, and even more than that I feel as though Glorfindel is making genuine efforts to help the town, not playing both sides as some other people might do with that role. It's also possible that he is actually GCPD. I don't think Glorfindel is bad, and I can't vote that way.
But, I'm not going to focus on Glorfindel. I want to start looking at some new people. People who possibly haven't been looked at enough.
There are a number of people I feel like have flown under the radar this game. Perhaps I have been one until very recently. Typhoony, Dom, DF, DH, LoRab... remarkably even Matt to some extent. Some of these people have taken heat, but I don't really feel like I or any one else has analysed anything much about them. I'd throw me in there - I'd invite anyone to really investigate my game.
At this point, I think I have identified town-leaning roles for SVS, MP, TH and Mac. Unless anyone actually is any of the roles I think these people are and wants to state my theories as being wrong. I have probable town reads on Enrique, bullz and juliets.
That really leaves me looking in that group of six, plus the inactives, for where my vote would go today.
I admit I haven't been as active as I usually am this game--travel and a sinus infection I realize don't excuse being quiet, but they really are the main reason. I know I'm civ, but I don't know how to prove that or even demonstrate it other than saying to read my posts and realize that they're from a civ perspective.
Still figuring out my own thinking on this lynch...

There's a couple of things I'd like to re-assess but I certainly believe there is a case to be made for Typhoony. We are well in the mid-game now and after seven Day and Night phases, the core group of experienced and influential players from this site remains for all intents and purposes, intact. Some of you (e.g. yourself, DH, MP and many others) would've I thought, made first rate NK choices by a Mafia team and yet, they've not taken out any really vocal and as I say influential players - I think that is indicative and what Matt has been trying to tell us the last few Days. Having said that, I think I wouldn't be doing my job if I turned a blind eye to a player that I believe has been flying under the radar for the last seven days and nights.
I know a good many of you are suspicious of me and I'm yet to fully understand why but I have no intention of abandoning my brothers in arms to the Mafia in this game.

I'm confused by this post. Are you saying that the mafia hasn't made good kill choices? And how are you defining what good choices would be? You seem to be indicating that experienced players would take out vocal/influencial players? But I don't think that's how experienced mafia usually chooses kills, so I'm not sure. Like I said, I'm confused. Could you clarify?

No, my friend. I'm saying the Mafia are making strategic choices. In one of the first games I played, we got to rather late in the game where a similar thing had happened - all of the less vocal and influential players had been killed off. The reason was that the Mafia were all very experienced players. If they'd removed the more influential players they would've been exposed and I get a sense that is what I'm seeing here (no offence to MM and Sorsha

).

I kind of get what Glorfindel is saying. Players like Mac, Golden, and MP are typically the most vocal players, and tend to spearhead lynches and the general direction of the thread. If a baddie team wants to manipulate the thread it would make sense to take out players who might lead a lynch on them. I don't think that's a reason to suspect any of those players are bad though.
Glorf, why do you suspect Typh? I feel like he hasn't been trying to help the civ cause very much, but I haven't seen anything specifically suspicious about him.
I still think one of the Mac voters is probably bad. Aside from SVS, whom I still think could be bad, I'll look over the others tomorrow.

Despite dropping many hints in that direction over the last few days, there have been a distinct lack of TH or SVS (or anyone else) rejecting my assertion that SVS could be Batman.

Finally! Someone who I think gets what I'm trying to say... You're correct too, I think - if you're Mafia, you hardly want to find yourself up against a 'Mac' or a 'Dom' or a 'TH' (or yes, even a 'Matt'

) leading a lynch mob against you and I think you'd probably prefer to take those players out of the equation.
As for Typhoony, I look over his posts this game (I think he has marginally more than I do) but like MM, it's difficult to recall any part he's played in the game. Look more closely at his posts and you see much the same as was the case with MM. Lot's of one liners, nothing too controversial, votes with little if any justification, throwing out the odd question now and then... I'd like too look at it a little more closely but that was my general first (and second) impression. If I wanted to fly under the radar this game as Mafia, I think that's exactly what I would've done.
