That read is a read that a villager never cares to make. He moved the goal posts, once I called him out on him not arguing on the same read, he came back to his old "he didn't post this in wolfchat" in order to reinforce his stance.

I think the whole thought process is just contrived.

Like if this was the same moth I saw in champs I would have kinda expected like a tunnel or an aggressive attack there. It's a d1 read, it's not exactly a locked in, but it's good enough for now.
