I don’t think wolf him wants to accuse me of exactly what he’s doing. I think he’s just what he seems - a careful, structured, townie.

Hally - I’m probably not going to ever stop tinfoiling her in the back of my mind but at a certain point you have to take yes for an answer. Sometimes the super-towny player is just town. Maybe she’s a wolf but if she is I ain’t catching her day zero. I can always be wrong, but I’m at the point of acknowledging that if Hally is a wolf I am wrong because I think she’s town.

Ted - I don’t think he’s paired with tutuu, and the way he’s been doggedly pushing his mini-tunnel on me feels like townie-wrong not wolfy-malicious. Not ultra confident here but he gets a townread.

reasons for why could i not be townreading her but she could still be town:

1) its been a while since we played. a few months. maybe im not remembering stuff properly
2) she could be tired cuz its late and maybe she had a long day at work
3) im biased cuz i already have so much townreads and im hesitant to make more. but i dont think thats true. but it could be

I have a theory that Ash could be mafia. There's something about his play I just don't like, and it keeps on nagging at me. He seems a little too... agreeable, if that makes sense. His NANOOK scumread surprised me, because Ash had never pushed NANOOK prior to making that read, and he has not pushed NANOOK since then, as far as I can tell. I'm currently conflicted on tutuu. On the one hand, I think my reasons for suspecting her are solid. On the other hand, she is still continuing a very bizarre play pattern I scumread her for (and I was not the only one!), she has not changed her play whatsoever to appeal to me, nor has she done anything beyond what I've already said that came across as scummy to me. I'm starting to wonder if I'm scumreading her personality instead of her actual play.

Hally's re-entrance into the thread did not ping me either way. The fact I'm called obvious town by Hally seems... weirdly dismissive, just like the way I felt when tutuu responded to me in that one post.
First time I’ve been accused of being too agreeable, lol.

I’m trying to avoid getting myself too dug in on any one read or any one player too early this game, when we still have half a dozen players who haven’t posted and another couple who haven’t done anything very significant.

You might not have noticed but I actually started scumreading Nanook very early. He pre-announced that he was going to be using a different play style in a way that looked like asking for permission. Like I’m playing less aggressive than I normally do, but I didn’t feel the need to warn everybody about it.

Why would you feel the need to let anyone know, who the fuck would know the difference here

The only thing I have on Ash is the fact that he seemed to be going nowhere with the nanook read and was not trying to progress at all in any meaningful way

From spec chat he looked like he was on a constant lookout for info and generally more interested in solving but his posts feel limp here

I chalked it off as it not being D1 and him not throwing votes around, maybe that thing affects how he goes into a game, but after the nanook post he’s been pretty underwhelming

out of my town leans, i feel better about ted and poison than ash and michelle. i have things i think are towny for ash/mich but i still feel kinda underwhelmed by them in totality, whereas poison and ted are trending up imo
