He refused to explain why he reads them Town when I legit gave him the only answer that makes sense but he couldn’t even say “Yes” to that.

This post is a great look for JJJ. I think he wouldn't be as blunt and hostile to Mac if he was scum and Mac was town. I could see it as within their wolf-distancing range if I squint, but it still looks unnecessary. Occam's Razor says he's just town and annoyed at Mac's flippancy.

JJJ has no need to provoke you for no reason if he's mafia and frankly it isn't his style. If he's wolfing here he has a lot of options that make more sense. He could just drop a flat townread on you and skate by on being consensus townread by the thread. He could just ignore you. He could use the usual weaselly wording and say something like "I have seen nothing from Mac that makes me want to townread him, but I don't have any specific gripes with him. I'd like to give him space to do more solving and let him do his thing for now." or whatever. Those thing seem way more productive for a wolf JJJ to do than flipping you the bird for no reason.

Lol, I am most definitely an old man, I'm just unable to run my normal game which involves scraping the thread into a worksheet that automatically formats everything so I can observe any interaction I want and reference any previous quote while watching trends. Mac is a player that, as town, can sometimes become really obvtown and dominate the thread. Therefore any wolf who tries pushing on him or shading him early runs the risk of being caught with their pants down if he does that this game. He is very rarely LHF and so wolves fishing for an easy misexe D1 do not usually go to him unless he is having an off game, and I don't think he's really one right now.

There are some players who simply have the personality of wanting to take down the big shark in the pool and relish the challenge and excitement of trying to get Mac exed. Tim, for example, is one such player. I presume you are as well. Does JJJ have that personality? Probably not. If he pushes a hard to push player it's for WIFOM reasons, not because he's drooling over the idea of making a ballsy play.
