I was going to say #1 myself. But I am not sure we can jump right to the conclusion that Mongoose = Dr. Fetus. There are other players who are not very active. However, even if Dr. Fetus does not hide during the next night period, I don't think we can let Mongoose off the hook either. If she is Dr. F, she might not hide to try and fool us.thellama73 wrote:1) Dr. Fetus fails to hide 2 nights in a row, clearly inactive

3) Mongoose = Dr. Fetus?

I'm unreadable and people fear that. They also hate what they fear.Mongoose wrote:You sir, are a gentleman and a liar.thellama73 wrote:I have.Mongoose wrote:So to confirm, no one has died from lynch votes yet?
I am also reading you as a civ this game. How the heck did you end up getting so many votes though this far anyway?
I find this to be sound reasoning. Basically no use trying to lynch him until chapter 6 it seems.insertnamehere wrote:My current stance on Llama is that he's either Bandage Girl, and doing this stuff "just cause". Or he's Dr. Fetus and is doing this as an experiment, and just to fuck with us. OR, he's just a different civvie role who's got a lot of lives, and is doing this as an experiment. To me, the third is the least likely.
Now hold on a cotton-picking minute. If Dr. Fetus believes he (or she) has a lead on someone, maybe he (or she) is not hiding so that the Final Showdown comes quicker? Presumably, if the doctor wins said showdown, the game ends.thellama73 wrote:1) Dr. Fetus fails to hide 2 nights in a row, clearly inactive

You're probably wondering why I'm here (and so am I, so am I.) My Warp Zone fun did not proceed as planned.
I think this makes an awful lot of assumptions about the Doctor. I can't imagine that he would be advantaged by an early confrontation. Othewise there would be no point in the hide mechanic at all.Boomslang wrote:Now hold on a cotton-picking minute. And considering a lot of players have lost lives, Little Horn's attack might be pretty potent.• Little Horn – A giant shadow monster from Hell that resembles Meat Boy, this villain grows strength from the failure of others. When the players are in Chapter 4: Hell, Little Horn selects a target every night to attack. Little Horn's speed starts as normal, but grows faster with every player's death; similarly, his attack grows more powerful with every player's fatigue.
I only played Super Meat Boy a couple of times, but on both of those occasions, these little f*ckers killed me every time. Not to mention, they'll be able to target 3 players at a time if they so choose (again, dangerous since many of us have taken damage from lynches).• Larries Lament – A collective of three giant maggots that burrow in the ground, waiting for prey to attack. When the players are in Chapter 5: Rapture, Larries Lament selects anywhere from one to three targets every night to attack. Each of the three maggots is very slow, but combined they can do lethal damage.
Ah, via PM or did I miss it?Epignosis wrote:The bad guys have BTSC. I asked.
Agreed. It would be very fortunate to take care of Little Horn today, while all players are on the poll. Any thoughts on where you're looking?Mongoose wrote:Little Horn especially scares me; there must be several civ players that are nearly out of lives. Those civ deaths will only power him up further.

This!!! And your larger post that I didn't want to quote. I honestly have no idea where to look (I wouldn't mind continuing to vote for Jigsaw but I'm a little biased there). So far the only baddie discussion has been regarding Dr. Fetus, and obviously we can't benefit from voting for him right now. So that leaves me with no other real leads unfortunately, and.... Oh yes! Weren't we going to have a discussion today?Mister Rearranger wrote:Agreed. It would be very fortunate to take care of Little Horn today, while all players are on the poll. It's Boomslang, you guys, I'm telling you. His behavior screams baddie to me.Devin the Omniscient wrote:This!!! And your larger post that I didn't want to quote. Then who do you think I am, if you're so sure? Can you point to my role based on my behavior, or are you just casting a general net and hoping it sticks?thellama73 wrote:In fact, I have no reason to wait. That's how certain I am!

llama, I am the most certain about you in this game. And, therefore, I trust you the most. You also tried to help me out with Jiggy, and now I will repay the favor. So it's no longer enough to peg someone as a baddie, I have to know their specific role in order to vote for them? @Jigsaw: I hope we can come to a truce at least on this day. Please level with me here. I am not who you think I am. You are going to end up being the death of me very soon if you continue.
First she's dead certain llama is civ (as a strangely large number of players seem to be this game, imo).Elohcin wrote:Eh, I'm not worried. You don't scare methellama73 wrote:Only a baddie would make such a response. Honestly, I don't think you're really pinged by me at all. And, I definitely get civvie vibes from you. I admit that you pinged me a bit at first with your "odd behavior" but there was one post that you made that turned things around for me. You're okay in my book.
The next day period, she's sure enough that llama is bad to vote for him.Elohcin wrote:Bandwagony? Bandwagony!? Eh, I guess you're right. But not today folks! The next day period, she's unable to give a reason for wanting to vote Hedge besides to bandwagon. As I mentioned above, bandwagoning itself isn't a problem for me. I disagree with it as a general strategy when civ, but I can understand how in this game someone could think it's a good idea. What I have a problem with is bandwagoning when you admit you have NO REASON other than the bandwagon itself to suspect someone. It reeks of just wanting people to die. I guess Elo would say she wants people to die so she can have info, but you would think if she were civ she'd prefer it be a baddie that goes. I don't see any sign of that thinking here.Elohcin wrote:Lizzy wrote:More or less bandwangon-y.Elo wrote:*votes llama* Love ya buddy, but others are right in saying that a 16-way tie would not be beneficial. Why? Besides your tendency to bandwagon.Elo wrote:I went ahead and voted Hedge.
Why? Bandwagony again.Elo wrote:I think this is a good idea. Low posters, not llama.![]()
You. Or maybe you could suggest someone for a change.Elo wrote:Any other ideas folks?
Yes, I was trying to bandwagon. I believe we need to bandwagon in this game, try to get a baddie asap so we can move forward with some more understanding of who else is bad.
And finally, here Elo just flat-out admits she wants Boomslang to die regardless of his alignment, just because he may have fewer lives than llama or her. I also don't understand what she's saying about llama here. Does she suspect him or doesn't she?Elohcin wrote:As much as I suspect llama, I have to agree that 14 lives isn't enough to suspect him. This makes me think that Boomslang has less than 14 lives. Maybe we ought to go after him next as he will take less time to lynch.Mister Rearranger wrote:What leads you guys to think 14+ lives is strange?
Granted, there are plenty of other reasons to suspect Llama (and believe me, I'm now considering them all), but I'm not following that one. :/
