i feel this. with jagged and sloonei dead, i feel like a lot of the solving and de-facto "leadership" we had in this game is erased, and i worry that the game will take a darker direction as more players with strong presences (ie: you, alison) get nightkilled. there's much solving to be done but the mechanical aspect of this game tangles my brain into knots

it doesn't help that you being sloonei's primary suspect coming into d2 is making me tinfoil you, lol

if we live in a world where marmot did not have a fake claim to use, or chose to use a random character instead, then it is incredibly coincidental that he happened to use the same highly specific fakeclaim as Gavial.

there could exist a world where a wolf was informed about a role in this game being Chief Gibson and wanting to fish the role out, but there is nothing about Gavial's role claim that would necessitate the wolves needing that role to be outed
