Loyalty is important to me, and SVS has had my back this entire game, so I don't have any intention of voting for her today. If you want to make a case on somebody else, go for it.

Or were you fighting for a Sorsha vote? I don't recall you explicitly saying, correct me if I'm wrong.

You said Sorsha, apologies. I'll think about it, but I'll tell you what decision I come to because I don't think either of you are deserving of being blindsided.

Thinking about my vote, here's where I stand:

I'm making this vote based on the relationships I've formed in the game and my interactions with people. What I've decided is that I don't want to vote for Sorsha. She gave me fish at the very beginning of the game without me even asking for it. I've been wanting to reciprocate that kindness for a while, and here's where I'll do it.

LoRab, you went against me when the tribes swapped. I can understand your thought process for doing so, but if I didn't have an idol, I'd be out right now. That's a huge factor into my vote. This isn't a guarantee that I'm going to vote for you, because Eloh fits the profile just as well. If people are willing to go there, that's what I'll do. But otherwise, I am voting for you over Sorsha.

Gah, this now gets into the territory of alienating people for tomorrow. If you turn things on Elo, is LoRab going to feel any better? If things stay LoRab, is elo going to feel any better?

If there was a genuine willingness to go another direction I think that needed to be raised ages ago. I think night was supposed to end half an hour ago (but I'm losing track of Scotty time).

Here's the thing...

I promised LoRab final 5, and I thought that it would be a done deal. It's a promise I did not make to Elo. I would have come in today and voted Elo, because I didn't make such a deal with her. That's what I was expecting to do, honestly.

But at this point, I'm not willing to suddenly turn it on Elo. She's not even here. And I'd like to keep working with her tomorrow.

I'm trying my best not to alienate anyone, because there really isn't a whole lot of difference in where player A stands next to player B in my eyes. But at the same time, I have to vote and I want to be open about my feelings.

I also wanted to say this much earlier, but real life stuff got in the way.

The rain was taxing everyone at camp. Tensions were high, and it was making it hard to have any kind of backroom dealings. Things were all out in the open. To make matters worse, the fire burned out, and the shelter started to collapse along the edges.

SVS and LoRab were in an open brawl, but without swinging at each other, and ending every sentence with "even though I'm your friend."

But open fisticuffs abounded, and sickness seemed to be a looming issue once again.

Golden, rocking himself to sleep in the shelter, eeked out, "I'm sick and dying, but I must press on!"

For the survivors had to press on and vote out yet another tribemate: their 12th.

At tribal, while OptOut flipped a coin and laughed maniacally, Elo asked, "Hey Probst- what's this thing about a jury??"

"Well...pretend you're at a trial for murder, and the jury is your only chance to be set free. You know you didn't do it, but you just have to convince them. Or, convince them that you did it, and see if they'll find that respectable enough to let you off the hook anyway," explained Probst.

"Oh, I hate court. Especially since that last visit..." pondered Quin.

The tribal council went as usual, or as usual as it could. Every player in turn went up to put a name down.

"I'll go get the votes."

Probst snapped and Quin suddenly stood upright. He robotically trudged into the voting booth and came out with the jar. Depositing it in front of Scotty, he then sat back down and then shook his head in a disoriented manner.

"Wha-what...happened?" asked a bewildered Quin.

"Wow! That was amazing!" screamed LoRab.

"It's called being a powerful producer. Now…if anyone has the hidden immunity idol and wishes to play it, you may do so now.”

There was a large breath as everyone looked towards each other, and finally OptOut stood.

"Probst...I feel like I have to use this. But not on me. I'm playing it for LoRab."

“Duly noted. OptOut has used her Hidden Immunity Idol on LoRab. Any votes cast against her will not count. Once the votes are read, the decision will be made and the person will be asked to leave the tribal council area immediately. I’ll read the votes."

Players preselected a captain to start this challenge. The captain chosen is: Opt_Outside.
Her job? Dictating which parts of the challenge all 6 players compete in, 3-per-part. There are 2 different parts:

1- Color Puzzle (Puzzle Solving) **3 People**
******I will send each person a puzzle to solve via PM. Then you will send back your answer. This puzzle will be in real time, so make sure you have some time set aside.

2- Boot Camp (Strength) **3 People**
******I will give the specifics of this challenge once players have been slotted here, but just know that it will eat up some energy and will rely a bit on dice rolling.

But that’s not all- the captain also must determine what the reward will be for each part: Individual Immunity for the fastest finisher in one, and food/drink reward for the fastest finisher in the other one.

Wanna know what the food/drink reward is? Ice cream floats and peach cobbler pie, which will restore both thirst and hunger! Players will have an opportunity to share this reward if they win.

Captain OptOut, please signal in thread before 3pm EST your choices by {b}Bolding{/b} them.

Ohhh boy. Okay yup, lots of decisions. Please everyone weigh in! Who's good at puzzles vs strength? Who is sick/needing food? I will try to make it as fair as possible though everyone may not be exactly where they want to be...

But for the purposes of the jury, I want it to be clear. If I had my way, the vote and discussion would have gone differently today. I feel like my hand has been forced, so to speak, and so I feel like I've made the decision I have to make rather than the one I want to make. SVS is right, this is a game, I have to play it like a game, and sometimes that means making the decision I don't want to make. The only part of this that was a lie is who I voted for.

I really hate that I had to make that vote, but I felt like I had no choice. I did not want it to be that way. Not one bit.

If everyone had just come in voting the way we had previously agreed it would have gone fine. I was being honest with everyone! It felt like the same wasn't coming back. I felt threatened by the change in plan.

I am confused as to how you managed to get BTSC last night, or that's what I'm assuming allowed this at least.
