No, not that at all. It is more that Jay and I have played together for a decade and approach the game very similarly, so I don't ever stress too much about needing to read him. I just take some time to determine whether or not his effort seems sincere.

Perhaps consider for a moment why you keep getting these "town but doesn't make sense" reads (or just "doesn't make sense") -- you don't even need to talk about it, just give it some Gavial time in that Gavial brain.
