Wow. And people think my Day 1 theories are strange.blindfaeth wrote:Let's be real. Bullzeye isn't suspecting me, he is trying to proclaim to the entire thread that I am undoubtedly a detective and had btsc with llama thus why I defended him. Telling the baddies to kill another detective. I'm very happy to report however that I am not a detective and his plot is a failure. I was defending llama because I could have sworn he was captain cold. The role mentions being obsessed with "the score", and llama first couple posts were about the participation score. Also, one of the points in the host post for old rogues is they want to kill gorilla grodd. Llama obsessively mentioned the monkey. I could have sworn he was signalling to Golden glider, thus drawing so much attention to himself. I would have bet money on it frankly. In any case, because I thought he was the civ searchee, I figured if epig was in fact signalling, he had to be the bad version. Now, it's clear this isn't the case. I still don't trust epig, but I'm less sure of myself.
Thats all to say, the reasons I pushed so hard to defend llama aren't because I had btsc with him, it's because I thought I'd figured out his role.

I don't have much to say about rabbit thinking I'm bad. I don't understand his reasoning - he seemed to have the same opinion of my response post to blindfaeth that Soneji had, that it was saying nothing... but that's not true. His recent post about me using the same ineffective reasoning as I had in other games, well, I don't really know what previous reasoning he's referring to, but I'm sure he'll be happy to clarify.timmer wrote:Roxy is def. on my list of people I'd like to hear from. Also, I'd like to know what Sophie thinks, once she locks in on a game she often has good instincts about things.
And I haven't played with rabbit in forever, but I remember his instincts being pretty good too, so I'd like to see what LC has to say about rabbit's calling him bad.
I don't feel great about bullz' posts about bf, either.
So now that the civ ninja decided not to kill you and you no longer have an excuse to act betrayed and this not contribute, do you have suspicions you care to share?Bullzeye wrote:Wow. I am actually genuinely surprised. Thanks for not revenge-killing me Wally, that was a smart move
Why is suspecting epi suspicious?Long Con wrote:A read of Metalmarsh's posts shows that he was (and still is, I think) a big proponent of Epig's lynch. For those who suspect S~V~S and Roxy, how do you feel about Metalmarsh? MM, what's your opinion of those two ladies at this time?
Actually, I don't support an Epignosis lynch at this moment. I guess I never made that clear.Long Con wrote:A read of Metalmarsh's posts shows that he was (and still is, I think) a big proponent of Epig's lynch. That's why we have you here, because these kinds of things go over my head.S~V~S wrote:Not me, us. Now you have posted on top of her in a few threads, but when i came in this AM, she was the last poster in every forum except locked ones, and this one, lol. The last post column is a sea of red.
i don't see a direct silencer, but several roles have tildes that could be "silence".
Well, Timmer already said why he finds you and Roxy suspicious, and I assume you read his post. I curious as to why he would omit Metalmarsh from that suspicion and focus just on you two, when it looked to me like MM was doing the same thing.S~V~S wrote:Why is suspecting epi suspicious?Long Con wrote:A read of Metalmarsh's posts shows that he was (and still is, I think) a big proponent of Epig's lynch. Yeah... that's the loudest silencing I have ever seen! And wow Roxy, Lol. I think she's trying to tell us something.
That isn't what I asked; I asked why suspecting Epi is suspicious. The only thing MM had in common with us was that suspicion. So why is that suspicious?Long Con wrote:Well, Timmer already said why he finds you and Roxy suspicious, and I assume you read his post. Can you explain this thought? I usually see "throwing someone under the bus" as something a baddie does to their teammate for the cred you speak of. I don't really see how it applies to the Epig-Eloh situation.S~V~S wrote:I was thinking Epi may have been throwing her under the bus for that cred.
Can you stop skirting around SVS' question and answer why you think suspecting Epi is suspicious? Why do you seem to be so convinced he's not bad?Long Con wrote:Can you explain this thought? I never said that I think suspecting Epi is suspicious. I don't. All I did was ask why people are suspecting S~V~S and Roxy for being aggressive against Epig, and not mentioning Metalmarsh, when my read of his posts shows he was doing the same thing.blindfaeth wrote:Can you stop skirting around SVS' question and answer why you think suspecting Epi is suspicious? But he was not. You mainly seemed to be lumping us all together, when he was not saying the same things we were. He mainly only had the same suspicion.Long Con wrote:I never said that I think suspecting Epi is suspicious. I don't. Remember when I cursed Epignosis to speak in Yes-Lyrics and then pushed (with some assistance from LC) the lynch on him in Harry Stephen Keeler, knowing he couldn't effectively respond?Bass_the_Clever wrote:Thanks SVS for pointing that out about roxy. I feel like lynching Roxy is a bad idea I also feel liike it would be cheating if people try and lynch her when she can't speak in the thread.
I wouldn't go that far.Bass_the_Clever wrote:Thanks SVS for pointing that out about roxy. I feel like lynching Roxy is a bad idea I also feel liike it would be cheating if people try and lynch her when she can't speak in the thread.
I would also like like to hear from made I feel like I'm be cheated when people dont post once a day.blindfaeth wrote:I'd really like to hear from made. That wasn't cheating that was pretty amazing lol.Metalmarsh89 wrote:Remember when I cursed Epignosis to speak in Yes-Lyrics and then pushed (with some assistance from LC) the lynch on him in Harry Stephen Keeler, knowing he couldn't effectively respond?Bass_the_Clever wrote:Thanks SVS for pointing that out about roxy. But you are right. It is Day 2, and too early to be lynching silenced players.
I hope you didn't cheat to get that answer.DharmaHelper wrote:Oh I get it, its a curse.
I think your maths are off today.DharmaHelper wrote:Oh I get it, its a curse.
Cheating is a strong word. I mean i have seen baddies silence themselves but I don't think roxy is bad this game so lynching her would be a mistake I think.S~V~S wrote:I would not say cheating, I would say unsportsmanlike. People do fake this kind of thing to avoid lynching, but since Rox has done so herself in the past not sure she would do it again.
Since people are lumping us together, I feel it is bad for me, although I know we have no actual connection. With her silenced, I will be looked at more. But nevertheless, I am not comfortable with a vote for her just in case. But I think incapacitating people then lynching them is kinda mean.
But yeah, "cheating" is too strong a word.
What curse? I didn't know anyone was cursed.DharmaHelper wrote:Whoevers curse that is, that curse sucks.
Not in like a "Daw man that would suck to have that curse" way. In a "The quality of that curse is terrible" way.
Bass keeps using the word "cheat" or "cheating" or "cheated" etc.Metalmarsh89 wrote:What curse? I didn't know anyone was cursed.DharmaHelper wrote:Whoevers curse that is, that curse sucks.

If you are talking about the one I used on Epignosis in the other game, my role allowed me to pick the curse of my choice.
I even cursed myself to post a minimum of 50 postsin one day to avoid being silenced.
Yes, that's exact why. He didn't specifically say it out loud, he just kept mentioning how much bf had been fighting against a llama lynch in a way that seemed to be wanting others to come to the detective conclusion. I found that weird. And while none of our win conditions actually say that we need the detectives to be alive, it's not like they are irrelevant? They fight the New Rogues, which makes them direct allies! So anyone trying to point one out without saying it is more likely to be a New Rogue, imo.Long Con wrote:
What makes you feel not great about bullz' posts about bf? Do you mean how he called him out on likely being a Detective?
There were several people who questioned Epig's methods on Day 1, and seemed good with his potential lynch. i highlighted Roxy and SVS above the others because they both seemed to be trying to keep the lynch focused on him, more than people like MM were.Long Con wrote:A read of Metalmarsh's posts shows that he was (and still is, I think) a big proponent of Epig's lynch. I think it needs to be said here that we ARE still talking about Day 1 activities. While I've highlighted that I'd have voted Roxy or SVS if I had been caught up, those votes would have been based on what still amounts to fairly flimsy material. I've called the main cases crap, but it's not like I've got gold over here, either, I just like my crap better than I liked yours, lol.S~V~S wrote:EBWOP~ and yes, I did see Timmers post, and Aces. I believe Aces to be misguided. Still not sure about Timmer. I was thinking Epi may have been throwing her under the bus for that cred. Maybe not, not sure. But in any case, I totally disagree with their posts since I am not bad, but it is not easy to refute opinion
And like Bullz, I play my baddie game most of the time. Oddly it gets me in trouble more when i am civ than otherwise, but it is what it is. I found it impossible to play my civ game as a baddie, so I switched it up that way instead.
Um, I tried to keep the lynch focused on him becasue I believe he is bad. Isn't that what the point of this game is?timmer wrote:There were several people who questioned Epig's methods on Day 1, and seemed good with his potential lynch. i highlighted Roxy and SVS above the others because they both seemed to be trying to keep the lynch focused on him, more than people like MM were.Long Con wrote:A read of Metalmarsh's posts shows that he was (and still is, I think) a big proponent of Epig's lynch. But now it looks like Roxy is silenced? Looking at the roles, the most likely silencer is Abra Kadabra, which makes for an interesting question... why would an indy with no apparent motives but survival silence a player who was taking a bit of heat? The only thing I can think of is that there is a chance that Roxy IS that role and did this to herself. It's a ton of conjecture, and there may be other roles who can silence, I just don't see it. But I won't be voting Roxy today, anyway.
