I think the mafia roleblocked Tutuu to fire at Alison last night but missed for some reason. Perhaps someone else protected Alison, or perhaps Alison hasn't mentioned she has a BP. Or perhaps they didn't fire at Alison but instead fired at me or SPF and one of us had a vest.

I think they shot at Alison n1 and Tutuu saved her.

I think they double stacked on Hally with the 3p.

Yeah this. They double stacked on Hally for sure. I think the mafia tried to kill into the SPF/Alison/Mac group and got stopped somehow even after roleblocking Tutuu.

Maybe there is a town roleblocker that landed a hit they can't claim? Maybe a hidden town protective... who knows.

The mystery was that I tracked Ted to Tim. Tim claimed to have roleblocked Ted. But I still got the result of Ted visiting Tim, so obviously the roleblock was unsuccessful for some reason. He could've been roleblocked himself I guess, just an unfortunate coincidence.

Wilgy also claimed that there was only one player visiting Ted that night. That would've been me, and not Tim. I don't remember if there was more mysterious things about Wilgy tbh.

but more seriously, my theory was that whoever did the roleblocking and whoever did the killing were different people.

here's a narrative for you to chew on. 3P can roleblock targets. they go "hm, a lot of people suspect there's a scum-sided roleblocker in the game. the mafia know it isn't them, so they'll know 3P can roleblock. only one protective is on alison, and alison is a big threat to them because she's the one that can most rapidly mech solve the game. what if I roleblocked tutuu, the scum expect me to do that so they can shoot alison, and then the scum shoots alison?" and then they execute their plan and the mafia goes and fires at MR instead.

there are some holes in this narrative, like the 3P taking a massive risk in assuming the mafia knows what they're doing. but it's an idea.

the other idea is that a redirector redirected the roleblocker. if the redirector had some ability to mess with the roles of who they block, that could explain why tutuu was given a notification despite her not being supposed to receive one.

or the roleblocker blocked tutuu, the other mafia carried the kill to my door, and the 3P redirector threw by guiding it to MR because they think that watcher is the S T R O N G E S T T O W N R O L E

I don't believe in CFDs unless we have really strong reason, like a trust tell, a cop check or other mech info, or a really convincing defense/really damning scumslip happening at EoD. I don't have many hard rules when I play mafia but this is one of them. (well, technically this isn't really a hard rule since there's exceptions)
