They couldn't predict Alison was going to get shot for stupid reasons at the time. Also, besides Alison, there definitely had some names that wolves could fear if town like alexa and Mac or even Sloonei.

You don't need to intentionally claim the kill if you use it on town. It's a private dayvig so wolves could use it anywhere without being caught.

if you are town and see c4 likely shooting marmot, why would another town vigi kill steal that shot? if I'm vig i'm not using that shot on marmot unless c4 actively chooses to not shoot marmot but I still believe marmot is maf, which game state was pushing him as maf (besides dizzy trying to save him). so I don't see why town vigi would use shot in that specific scenario. so if we start from there:

I understand that *if* dya is mafia then yeah they don't need to claim who they shot and can save for a strong player / confirmed town (assuming not protected as well...) OR I think there is a perfectly possible world dya offers to shoot marmot (or marmot suggests to dya) and steal the kill from c4 (c4 shooting marmot would have confirmed c4 as likely town instead of what ended up happening which was that c4 shot town and was in top contention for lynching) to therefore prove dya as townie.

I think it happened to work out that after a few days of dya coasting (which I kind of feel like they have been coasting), maf are hopefully in strong enough spot to start knowing town roles to soup kill easily. obviously if we had lynched mafia better then it might not truly pay off but if mafia is guaranteed losing a strong marmot wolf day 1, why not flip it on town to have a deep wolf as confirmed town?

okay well idk why there is dichotomy between me and wilgy from wagon voting when eod 1 I was not being wagon'd at all and you were still the only vote on me. even c4 didnt bother putting vote on me and you were entirely riding off his read of me
also it's been made clear that the reason belzy is clearing me is due to mech. understandable to read us as a potential pair but idk why you're assuming it's automatically wolfy.
