I agree with this logic and I believe MP's vote was manipulated so I'm sure not going to vote for DH. I was considering Timmer but since i dont believe voting DH is the way to go I may vote He-Man so my vote counts for something.

Day 3: The Vine Jungle Just Became a Little Greener


The sudden presence of the lofty, skeletal structure that was The Slime Pit unnerved the party, but after their initial astonishment, they realized this was a convenient opportunity to search the souls of their group once again, especially seeing as how two of Snake Mountain’s vilest had perished.

As the Day grew late and the horrific edifice grew ostensibly more impatient, the twenty-eight held a third election. The wretched spider-eaters could only point at their selections; their throats had finally began to find relief, but not nearly enough that comprehensible speech was possible. Only Elohcin seemed to show marked improvement.

When it became apparent that he had been chosen, DharmaHelper began to run through the jungle. A giant, white hand intercepted him. Its bony knobs pressed into DharmaHelper’s body. He howled as the demonic construct lifted him high, and then brought him down just a man’s height underneath its draconic jaw. DharmaHelper’s body was clenched so tightly that his feet could not even dangle above the black pit directly below.

He was just trying to catch glimpse over the bony knuckle when he felt something plop onto his head. It was warm, and more came.

For a moment, he feared that this icky matter was some grotesque condiment, making him more delectable to the thing that was about to devour him. That made no sense, DharmaHelper thought, because tongues are what enable taste, and this thing has no-

It felt like slimy tendrils were tearing through the ducts of his follicles, burning their way deeper, past his own skull, and into his brain. His scream went unheard through the mounting sludge. He shouted and struggled in the green cocoon that enveloped him. His last memory of this ordeal was that of the creature letting him go, and he fell freely into a pool of accumulated slime.

It was a long time before anyone dared venture up the uneven steps that led to the large pool. They sought a sign of the one they were determined to execute, some token of his true identity, but the mucus that filled the basin was nearly opaque.

What appeared to be a bubble rising to the surface became more visibly human as it rose higher. And as though the substance had instantly lost its gumminess, it trailed off almost like water down the figure’s body. It was DharmaHelper. He appeared somehow calmer than they had ever seen him. And when the iridescent slime rolled away, the skin underneath retained a green luminescence.

“What is this?” someone whispered to DharmaHelper, who was looking blankly back into the Vine Jungle.

DharmaHelper’s languid voice answered, but the words were garbled and nonsensical.

Night 3: Andreenos

As dusk loomed heavy in the humid air, the filthy, hungry, and tired gathering moved desperately northward, hoping to find some manner of settlement in which they might receive some measure of rest and sustenance. But upon emerging from the Vine Jungle, there was little more than a sweeping valley, and across from them was the southern base of the Mystic Mountains.

And as the greenery faded into night’s blackness, DharmaHelper’s eerie dull glow lit their path.

In time, the grass became sparse, giving way to rockier terrain. Exhaustion and appetite became closer companions. The air became sweet with the sudden scent of honey, as though they had roamed into an apiary.

Even grander- they had found their way to one of the entrances of Andreenos.

The Andreenids were buzzing gaily, clicking large mugs of honey lager, and enjoying a feast of all manner of culinary treasures: Honeyed fowl and fragrant salads of wild flowers. The smells and sounds were irresistible, but an Andreenid guard, wings flickering and spear in hand, descended upon the party.

“What is your business among the Andreenids, strangers?”

“We are starving and tired,” someone confessed.

“You are spies,” the mistrustful guard said.

“We are not. Please help us.”

“Who is it?” someone buzzed from within, not muffled by the merriment within.

“Strangers,” the guard called back. “Nothing more. I was sending them on their-”

The voice called out, “Bring them in! Let it never be said that the hospitality of Andreenos cannot compete with its nectar!”

Sighing and muttering something about the king and his nectar, the guard let the party pass.

The halls of Andreenos were golden and brown, lit roundabout by vigorous fires and the reflection of Andreenid eyes. The party had heard that the Andreenids were a skeptical and unwelcoming race, but, despite being taken in with a grand curiosity, they were made to sit down and enjoy the bounty. And they did, happy to finally have a proper meal. When they’d had their fill, and had even joined in on some nasally Andreenid songs, they received a comfortable place to sleep.

Yet the middle of the night was rude and shook with violence. As the traveling group reconvened in the great hall, confused and still sleepy, they found the Andreenids engaged in violence with some species of winged, blue creatures.

The king found the group, and, ax in hand, reminded them of his hospitality to them the previous night. “Now it is time for you to show your kindness!” he cried above the din in the honeycombed hall. “That abomination who calls himself Webstor is cornered through that channel! We have a plan to dispatch him, but we require all our number here! Please, select two among you who will execute our plan and rid us of that arachnid demon! The rest of you remain here and fight!"

firts off, sorry i missed the vote, i had to be a good boy and do good boy things, but tbh after the re read idk who i would have voted for, prolly he man, but again i'm sorta confused as to why everyone thinks Mp is hexed??? am i just to dim to see it?
DH's posts, while funny, were, imho, kinda pingy....all witty and stuff, but sorta smarmy at the same time

, also snow dog still seems sorta civvie too me, not for any real concrete reason, but my gut tells me he's not being coached on what to do, do he's more than likely not mafia.

This makes four periods (Night 1, Day 2, Night 2, Day 3) where no one has died, with the exception of Roxy, whom we didn't vote for. I mean, I'm glad the baddies are failing so miserably, but you have to admit, it's getting a little ridiculous.

Eh at this point it just seems like we have to wait for the night post to see the results of the lynch. On Day 1 I thought it was maybe because of the tied vote but it has been this way consistently now so. I'll wait to see who DH turns out to be. I wonder how he got lynched though, or at least it seems that way. He-Man had two more votes on him.

In any case, I didn't really want to vote any of the lynch leaders but I held onto my vote in hope of making it count. I know maybe a lot of people don't agree with me, He-Man could easily be on the Horde, but I just trust him. & it's obvious he's not on Snake Mountain because of his vote to tie me Day 1. So I voted for DH to try and save He-Man, pay him back good for good if you will. Though I will say it was odd so many voted for him, since it was really painfully obvious MP didn't really suspect him that much at all and was forced to vote that way. It was horrible not being able to say anything during this entire fiasco -_-

Also, I have a couple points to bring up as well as a conspiracy theory so I'll brb.

I would be happy to go fight the Webstor. Let me remind you that I just recently ate some spider, so I am familiar with their weaknesses. And due to my prolonged silence from the spider, I have an ax to grind with all of spider kind.



It's looking to me like the lynches only occur after the night periods end - well, that's how it's happened so far. So I don't really understand how they're working mechanics/vote-wise, but both dead people so far have been "lynched" and it's happened after night ended.




It seems very likely that MP was forced to vote a certain way. Let's see what happens next day period too - because of how the "spell" works, at least as I read & understood it. With that in mind, since it's Skeletor who forced the vote... how likely do we think it is that he'd force the vote for someone on their team, who gets stronger the more votes they receive?

Maybe its because she wasn't on the snake mountain team. Maybe Timmer is Evil Lyn, instead. All her role says in the host post is "Secrets". I would like to bring attention to the fact that the host called Evil Lyn an "illusionist" when we were all cheering that she was dead. Interesting choice of word, I wonder if the "secret" is something like 'you may switch a lynch to someone else and you make the illusion that they are your role'. I know I may be wayyy off base here, but something just really bothers me about the whole situation.

I've not seen a role like that often, but I included one in a game I hosted. There was a civ that when lynched looked like a werewolf (because he was a lycan) I've also been in games where when a baddie is lynched they will appear to be a random civvie or something. Anyway, I think it adds up & makes more sense this way, but that's just my humble opinion.

That is an extremely interesting theory, and I wouldn't put it past Rob.

However, I would add that I found Roxy's vote very suspicious, coming in as it did at the last minute and not affecting the outcome. It seemed very much to me like the act of a baddie trying to avoid detection.

Of course, both could be true.

Yes, and if you'll recall I questioned her post during Night 1, I thought it was odd too. But then, when Boomslang flipped bad, I changed my opinion, I thought it made her more likely good. IDK. The thought formulated and I thought I'd share it.

I also saw Roxy's vote more as llama said - more like a throw away vote to avoid the melee - so to speak.

However, I do find that a very interesting theory, BF, and definitely worth mentioning and considering. I am definitely NOT sold that Timmer is indy rather than mafia, or that an indy role would be civ-friendly.

MP andI have discussed in the past the mechanics of a force vote role. I know for a fact that he thinks it defeats the purpose of such a role if the person being forced is allowed to tip that information. Given the fact tha he seems to have so blatantly tipped exactly that to the thread, I can only conclude he absolutely did not want DH lynched. The only reason I can see him being his way is if he has BTSC with DH. This is not indicative of him being a Baddie, however, given that there are plenty of Civs with BTSC. At the moment his behavior still reads Civ to me, as such I am personally inclined to believe DH is likely Civ as well. I am suspicious of those that believed he was forced and stillfollowed his vote...

Aha, thanks for answering that question, I had been wondering too - especially after doing some rereads in the thread. I could see that vote either meaning something, or not - because Anna voted Snow Dog for the shield, and there is no connection there. However the Kate/Roxy thing is slightly different because both those ladies know mafia, are actively playing, etc. So that is something to ponder.

BF, I'm always in favour of taking crazy thoughts and pursuing them through to what seems like a possible conclusion, I do it myself all of the time even though I mostly end up wrong.

Roxy voted 4 or 5 minutes before the end of the poll.

i think it is most likely that she waited as long as she felt was needed to ensure that no more votes were coming, and buried her vote on a secondary vote-getter. I'm guessing that He-Man's vote caused some swearing somewhere in BTSC land.
