Took some digging but I just found the link between my role and the wikipedia curse! And yes nutella, I think you're right about the video games and that's why I couldn't make the connection (because I'm not a gamer).

Ehh, I kinda doubt that Epi would do the role curse thing if roles were obviously tied to alignments. I mean, I guess it checks out that the Yun Qui captain was indie and Mega Man was civ, but he could have made teams unrelated to roles. Idk. Or, actually, what would make even more sense is that the curses were references to the games in general and not necessarily to the specific role so we could probably figure out which game someone is from but not necessarily their role.

I think it was just Epi's way of including chaosrealm/everyone's insane in the game

I think the curses were a one-day only thing. At least I hope. Since everyone seemed to have a curse, it looked like a one-shot might have triggered it.

She seems kind of reluctant to get involved too much and say too much — a lot of nijuu’s statements in that game were couched in a sort of “Well, this is what I do, so you shouldn’t be suspicious of it” and I think I saw the same sort of approach here.

I had moved to sloonei earlier. Cbob was on you for 6-5 until like 4 minutes before the poll closed and he changed after I posted some lyrics implying I thought he was making the wrong choice. So I feel sort of responsible (also when he did switch I accused him of bussing sloonei lolol)
